The Billionaire’s Surrogate
Chapter 68 (DON’T BLAME ME)
Chapter 68
An hour later, Emily came out of the kitchen carrying a tray and at the same time Grandma entered the house with the girls. One was carrying her bag and the other one carried Jeff who was sleeping.
“Welcome back Grandma.” She dropped the tray on the table and hugged her. “Thank you. How have you been?” Grandma sat on a sofa. “Where’s Harry?” she asked again. “In his room,” Emily said. She didn’t know how to tell her he was injured and so she remained silent.
“And the food?” she asked again. “For him,” she smiled. “Oh okay, take it to him.” Emily picked up the tray and exited the living room. A smile escaped Grandma’s lip as she watched Emily going up the stairs. “Mission accomplished.” She turned to the maids. “Take Jeff to his room and you, take my bag to my room. Come back and make something for me I’m hungry.”
Emily knocked on the door and turned the handle, she entered the room and found him lying face up on the bed.
“What are you doing here? You’ve come to finish what you started right?” He wanted to sit upright but couldn’t. “Hey calm down. I’m not here for that.” She dropped the tray on the bed and stood beside him.
“I’m sorry okay, I didn’t know it would result to this.” She apologized. He closed his eyes and she sighed. “Please I’m sorry. Okay, what do you want me to do so that you’ll forgive me?” she asked. Harry opened his eyes and looked at her.
“The two apples.” He said. “You need apples? Is that what you want to forgive me?” she asked and he nodded his head. “That’s simple.” She turned to leave but he stopped her.
“Where are you going?” he asked her. “To go get the apples from the kitchen,” she said. “No not that apple.” He said. “Then what apples are you talking about?” she asked.
“Come.” He gestured to her and she went back. “Closer.” She moved closer to him. “This,” he said but she still didn’t understand what he was talking about. “Sit here and I’ll show you.” She sat on the bed looking at him and he stretched out his hand.
“The two apples here.” He pointed to her chest. “You perv!” She landed a slap on his face and leapt to her feet. “Ouch!” He exclaimed.
“Don’t you dare do that again. I know this is why you’ve been pestering me. Ever since you came in to my room and found me that way, you’ve been following me around. So it’s because of those!” she gasped. “I’ll deal with you.” She snapped her fingers on his face and turned to leave again but he quickly sat upright and grabbed her dress.
“I’m sorry, I only did that for Fun,” he said. “Release my dress.” She beat his hand and he released her. “I’m sorry.” He apologized. “If you try this again, you know what’s next.” She picked up the tray from the bed.
“I brought your food, eat and take your medication.” She put it down on his thigh and left the room. “She’s tough.” He shook his head smiling.
Emily went back to her room, she closed the door muttering words under her breath.
“That boy is a spoilt brat. How could he even think of something like that.” She scoffed. “I shouldn’t have sat beside him when he said that. He made my heart made a skip when he pointed at my chest.” She put her hand to her chest.
“Look, it’s still beating fast.” She sat down on the stool in front of the mirror. “Emily, you have to get a hold of yourself since you’ll now be entering his room. Do not, I repeat. Do not allow him to even talk about Romance with you, do not allow him to touch you.” She advised herself.
“I won’t let that happen,” she nodded her head and stood up from the chair. She went back to the bed where Jeff was lying and sat down.
“I missed you a lot, Jeff.” She kissed his cheek and smiled. “My handsome son. I’m sorry I pushed your Dad off the stairs, he was the one that tampered with me. I didn’t do that on purpose, do not blame me,” she said.
Hours later, Emily decided to go check up on Harry to see how he was faring. She Carries Jeff along with her and when she entered the room, Harry was struggling to remove his t-shirt.
“You can’t knock but when you see something you aren’t suppose to see, you run out Showering curses on me,” he said. Emily ignored him, she went to the bed and sat down.
“You brought Jeff. Hi Jeff, see what your Mum did to me,” he said to Jeff who was looking at him. “Your Mum did this to me.” He repeated. “He heard you the first time you said it. What are you doing?” she asked him.
“Trying to remove this.” He said. “You can’t remove this, you’ll have to cut the left sleeve because there’s no way it would come out,” she said.
“You mean the shirt would go to waste?” she nodded her head. “But I bought this a week ago. This is new.” He sighed. “You have money to buy the whole brand.” She reminded him. “That doesn’t mean I should waste money, I work hard for it.”
“Whatever, if you want to take this off, do as I say.” She stood up. “Where’s the scissors?” She looked around. “God, so you are serious about this. The scissors is inside the drawer.”
She put Jeff down on the bed and went to the drawer. She pulled it and picked up the scissors. She grinned as she walked back to the bed.
