“Mum was wrong, she told me my heart would only be broken if I fall in love. She said love isn’t the way I see it.” Grandma smiled. “Of course, love isn’t the way we see it,” she said. “Mum said love is dangerous,” Grandma laughed.

“Harry, don’t be deceived by your Mum’s words. There’s something about love, if you keep seeing it as something that isn’t worth it, you are wrong and killing your heart. But when you open your heart and give love a try, you’ll find out you’ve wasted your time all those times. When you found the right person, you’ll never want to be alone again. You’ll want to spend the rest of your life with her.”

“Grandma, I want to spend the rest of my life with Emily.” She touched his face. “I’m happy for you. Emily is such a good girl, just make her happy and you won’t regret falling in love with her,” she smiled.

“I will make her happy,” Harry said to her. “How would you tell your Mum you have fallen in love?” Grandma asked him. “I don’t think I’ll tell her now. If I do, she’ll try to harm Emily. I’ll wait for the right time to tell her,” Grandma nodded her head

“That’s so thoughtful of you.” She stood up. “Good night, we’ll talk tomorrow. Have you taken your medication?” she asked him. “Yes, Emily gave me,” Grandma smiled, she touched his head and left the room.

Next morning, Emily was up early as usual. She paced around her room contemplating if she should go to Harry’s room or not. What happened between them the previous day was still fresh in her head and it made her shy.

She wanted to go see him but she was so shy. She didn’t know how she was going to look at him if she go to his room.

“Okay this is what I’ll do, I won’t go to his room unless he send someone to call me.” She sat down on the bed waiting for a messenger to come. “Have he taken his drugs?” She checked the time. “What about breakfast? Oh Emily, just drop your shyness and go see him.”

Suddenly, the door opened and Ron came in. She sprang to her feet thinking it was Harry that sent him.

“Good morning Miss Emily.” He greeted. “Good morning. Tell him I’ll be there soon,” she said and Ron giggled. “Who?” he asked. “Wasn’t Harry the one that sent you here?” she asked him.

“No, I came to give you the memory card I was yesterday,” he said and Emily tightened her eyes. She smiled nervously and took the little box in his hand from him.

“Why are you acting this way? Don’t forget what you promised me.” He reminded her. “Ron, it’s not like I’m breaking the promise. It’s just that I’m shy to go to his room.” She said and he chuckled softly.

“Shy? Did something happen between you two yesterday?” Emily nodded her head. “And what was that?” he asked. “You see, I went there to take care of him like you said but ended up doing something awkward.”

“Like what?” he asked. “We… I… we kissed.” She lowered her voice. “You wha…” She quickly covered his mouth before Grandma should hear his scream. “Keep your voice low.” She whispered after uncovering his mouth.

“You kissed?” she nodded her head. “Yes.” Ron wanted to scream again but controlled himself. “Wow! This is wonderful. Did anything happen again?” he winked at her.

“Nothing.” She rolled her eyes. “Then what are you still doing here?” he asked her. “Ron, I’m shy. I don’t know how to look at him if I go to his room,” she sighed.

“But it was only a kiss and nothing more. Even if something did followed the kiss, it’s normal between lovers. I don’t know why you are shy. Do you think Harry will be shy? He won’t. Let me tell you a secret.” He moved closer.

“If Harry finds out that you are shy about what happened yesterday, he would take advantage of that and it won’t be kiss again.” He said.

“If it’s not kiss, then what will follow? I mean, what would he do if he find out I’m shy?” she asked. “He would…” He paused. “Have he ever seen any part of your body before?” she nodded her head. “Which part?” he asked and Emily looked at her chest.

“Then he would wait for when you are closer to the bed, he would push you on the bed. Before you know it, he would tore your shirt and grabbed them. I’m sure you won’t resist the temptation that would follow and…”

“Get out!” she pointed to the door and he burst in to laughter. “What! That’s the truth. The earlier you go there and show him you aren’t scared the better. I’m a man and I know what men can do.” He winked at her.

“You are scaring me.” She covered her ears and he laughed. “Sorry. Anyways, that’s the memory card. Do not let anyone see it,” she nodded her head and he left the room.

“I’ll listen to this later, I have to take care of my injured boyfriend.” She went to the wardrobe and hid the box in between her folded dresses.

“Ron is right. This was what Naomi told me when I told her Harry saw my chest,” she nodded her head. “Harry, here I come.” She inhaled and exhaled.

She looked at Jeff who was sleeping and smiled. “I’ll be back when I hear you crying,” she giggled and left the room.

As she was about to enter his room, Ron came out. He smiled and winked at Emily who was surprised by his action.
