The Billionaire’s Surrogate
Chapter 93 (GOOD WISHES)
Chapter 93
“Emily is here.” Aunt Gloria announced. They all turned to her. Emily caught a glimpse of the girl’s face. She was so pretty and has a long face. Her nose was pointed and her mouth was so small.
“Good morning.” Emily greeted them. Like she had predicted, Jeff was with Harry. “Aunt Gloria, are you leaving already?” she asked after seeing her bags. “Yes, Emily. And oh, I’ve already informed Grandma and Harry that you would be moving to our place in a week’s time.”
“Oh okay.” She sat down beside Aunt Gloria. “Meet Hanna and my husband.” Emily looked at them again and smiled broadly. “Hi Hanna, you are beautiful. I like your hair. Hi Uncle, nice meeting you here.” She waved at them.
“Thanks, you are more prettier than me,” Hanna said shyly. “Emily, we will be leaving now. Guess what, we’ll move out of our old home to a new one and I’ll open a restaurant.” Madam Gloria said happily.
“And I’ll be returning back to school too. I’ll also help Mum at the restaurant after I close from school. I’m a good Cook too,” Hanna said and they all laughed.
“Emily, you’ll be moving to our place with Jeff right? He’s so lovely and I love him,” Hanna asked her. “Yes, Jeff loves you too,” Harry said with a smile. “Awn thanks so much,” Hanna said to him.
Emily was surprised that Harry had already agreed to that without asking her first. She looked at him and sighed softly.
“We’ll leave now.” Her husband said. Hanna stood up from the sofa, she touched Jeff’s cheeks and waved to him. “Bye Jeff, can’t wait to have you in our house,” Jeff smiled at her. “Awn he smiled at me. Look Mum.”
“Thanks for everything, we wish you the best in life.” Madam Gloria and her husband said to Harry. “Grandma, I’ll miss you so much.” Madam Gloria said to Grandma.
“I’ll miss you too. I’ll stop by someday to eat in your restaurant,” she smiled at her. “It would be a great pleasure.”
Madam Gloria and her family left the house. Emily felt so lonely instantly. She wished she could follow them at that moment but when she remembered Harry, she didn’t want to leave.
“I’ll be going to the hospital now and won’t return till evening,” Grandma said to Emily and Harry. “Okay,” Emily said. “Don’t you want to go? You haven’t visited the twins for two days now,” Grandma said and Emily smiled. “I have something to do. I might come later.” “Okay.” Grandma left the house with the maids leaving the love birds and their son.
“The something you want to do is related to me, right?” Harry winked at her. “No, thank you.” She scoffed. “Hey, are you really moving out?” Harry asked her. “That’s what Aunt Gloria said.”
“Don’t you want to go?” Harry asked her and she nodded her head. “Why?” he asked again. “I don’t want to leave you.” She became sad. “Hey babe, I know why you don’t want to leave but I’ll be fine. Do not worry about me. Besides, I’ll always come to visit.”
“Sure?” Harry nodded his head. “I love you so much.” She moved closer to him and hugged him. “I love you too.”
“I’ll take you for shopping tomorrow,” Harry said and Emily’s face lit up. She loved everything shopping. “Awn, can’t wait.” She sad happily. “Anything for my baby.” He twisted her hair. “Hey watch it.” She rolled her eyes and Harry laughed. “I feel so free in a part of my heart but something still feels heavy in another part,” he sighed.
“It’s about them right? Don’t worry, things would turn out good. I’m here for you to help you with whatever you need.” She pecked him. “Thank you, Emily. How I wish I was among the Servants that left. They’ll all go back to their families and live their lives happily.”
“You have me and Jeff and we will live our lives in happiness.” She pecked him again. “I’m glad I met you.”
Grandma went to the hospital, she met the twins on the corridor going back to the room. Michael was helping Naomi as she limped. She has a Bandage on her left leg which was operated on and a crouches under the left arm. They weren’t happy to see Grandma and wished she didn’t came.
“You are already on your feet, that’s good,” Grandma said happily. “Yes,” Naomi answered. “Let’s go back to the room.” She said again. “That’s where we are going,” Michael said to her.
“Okay.” She followed them as they walked in front of her. They entered the room and Michael nearly closed the door on her face. She thought he would apologize but he didn’t.
He helped Naomi sat on the bed and he stood sat beside her. None of them said anything to Grandma and when Grandma wanted to say something to them, they ignored her. Their action pissed her off. The first time they did that, she thought it was because they weren’t comfortable with her but later found out they were rude.
“Why are you two acting this way?” she asked but they didn’t answer her. “Aren’t you the ones I’m talking to? It’s so wrong of you to ignore an elder whne he or she is speaking to you.” They ignored her again.
“Well, since it is your ears that hear words, I’ll continue what I’m saying.” She leaned forward. “Do you know the person that behaves this way to elders? It’s my daughter Evelyn. Why do you guys behave like her? You’d better change your ways now before you grow up and start doing the evil things she’s doing now.”
