The Billionaire’s Obsession
Chapter 4
Chapter 4
But who knows, he might be hanging out with his girls since he has already subscribed in to adultery.
She hurried out of the bed, put on her shoes which lay on the floor and straightened her skirt which was now squeezed.
“People will think I did something in here,” she sighed worriedly. “As long as my face stays Hidden, no one will recognize me.” She took in a deep breath before stepping out of the room.
She made sure no one was on the corridor before she stepped out completely.
Vivienne hurried down the stairs, ignoring to take the elevator as she was afraid she might bump in to that stupid jerk in the elevator.
When she arrived home, Sebastian and his Mum were already in the living room as usual. She wished they weren’t in the living room at that moment because that old woman wouldn’t spare her.
“You decided to return now, right?” She threw an angry look at her immediately she closed the door behind her.
“Sebastian, I’ve already told you to get rid of this woman. There are other women out there who deserve you.” His Mum said for the second time that day.
Sebastian didn’t say a word, he only smiled and diverted his attention to Vivienne who stayed rooted on a spot.
“You this adulterer. This is why you’ve failed to conceive!” She scolded Vivienne. “Other girls that got marriage last month are already pregnant but here you are, wandering around and sleeping with men.” She paused.
“And it isn’t like my son isn’t capable, he is a man!” She raised her voice. Still, Sebastian didn’t say anything.
Vivienne sighed inside. If only the woman knew what she passed through that day. Her head still ached and the way she was shouting was adding to the headache.
“I’ll go in now, mother in-law.” She bowed her head and walked away.
“See? She can’t even call me mother. She’s always referring to me as mother in-law. You have to do something about this, Sebastian.”
Vivienne could hear all she was saying to Sebastian because their room was downstairs right in the living room.
She wanted the room upstairs when they got married but because Sebastian’s Mum wanted them to stay downstairs together with her, she didn’t argue.
After all, Sebastian’s Mum was like her own Mum.
“How dare you!” He closed the door but before she could turn around, he pushed her to the wardrobe and pinned her there, holding her neck.
“Do you have any idea how much I was going to earn from that contract? That man owns the biggest Textile company in this city. And partnering with my company is going to change my fortune!” He gnarled at her.
Vivienne tried to release his hand from her neck but he wouldn’t let her go.
“Sebastian, stop.” She managed to say but he pinned her harder. When he saw that she was losing her breath, he released her neck.
“Do you know what that man did to me?” She fell on her knees, trying to catch a breath.
He already knew what happened there and he didn’t care what she was going to say.
“Why would you send me to that kind of a place, Sebastian? You already know what sort of a place that is but you went ahead to humiliate me.” She sniffed.
“What if that man got what he wanted with me today? What do you think will be my fate?” She sobbed.
“I don’t care!” he shouted at her.
Vivienne was taken aback. He didn’t care, he wanted that for her and he was angry that she didn’t do as he wanted?
“You are going back to that hotel tomorrow to finish that contract agreement.” he turned his back on her.
Hearing that, Vivienne lifted up her head. He was going to send her back there after she was being saved by a good Samaritan?
“No.” She shook her head. Sebastian turned around, he went to where she was sitting on the floor and lowered himself.
He grabbed her chin up, looking in to her eyes angrily.
“Either you like it or not, you are going back there tomorrow. And if you don’t go…” He released her chin then stood upright on his feet.
“Then I’m going to divorce you,” he threatened. Sebastian knew divorce was one of the things Vivienne was always scared of.
And he knew that since the first day they started dating. She told him she hate being divorced and he promised her he wouldn’t do that.
Because her parents got divorced when she was a little girl, she was raised up by her bitter minded paternal Granma. She could swear that woman detested her a lot.
Because she treated her badly and she didn’t tell her to stay at home when she brought up the topic of becoming an actress.
“No, you can’t.” She shook her head, looking at him with tears on her face.
“Then you’ll have to go back there to complete that or else, we are getting divorced tomorrow and nothing will be put in your name,” he threatened her.
“The choice is yours.” He stormed out of the room, leaving her devastated.
How would she go back to the hands of a man that’s going to ruin her image? Why would the man she loves send her to commit adultery because of fame and wealth?
This wasn’t what she signed for, no. This wasn’t what they promised each other when they exchanged their wedding vows.
“I can’t do this,” Vivienne cried but covered her mouth. “You can punish me with any other thing but this isn’t right. I’m married, I don’t want to engage in to this.” She sniffled.
( The monster she married)
Vivienne slowly sat upright on the cold floor. Because she was crying last night, she fell asleep on the floor.
Her body was so cold and she felt like she was been brought out from the freezer. She looked at the bed but Sebastian wasn’t there.
She didn’t even think he came in to the room last night. Maybe if he did, he would have taken her to the bed.
Was she dreaming? She chuckled painfully. Maybe he would do that a year ago, not now.
“Ouch!” She held the back of her neck in pain. Her head ached a lot from being pushed on the bed the previous day.
“You are finally awake.” Came Sebastian’s voice from the door. Vivienne didn’t even look at him, what use was that.
It wasn’t as if he was going to say something important to her. Who knows, he might be trying to mock her.
“Here.” He threw yet, another document on the floor for her. Vivienne has already forgotten about what he said to her yesterday.
That she would go back to that hotel to do what he sent her to do the previous day.
“Sebastian, don’t do this to me. I can tolerate you cheating on me but I can’t take this. Do not send me back to that monster, please.” She pleaded.
But speaking about a monster. Shouldn’t Sebastian be the monster she should talk about? He was more monster than that man from the hotel room.
If he hadn’t sent her there, then that man wouldn’t even have the audacity to touch her.
But because of him, because he didn’t value and respect her, the man touched her skin with his rough hands.
“It’s either you go there or else,” he grinned mischievously. She sighed deeply as she already knew what that grin meant.
He would divorce her if she doesn’t go there. What sort of a husband is he?
Nevertheless, Vivienne stood up from the floor and headed inside the bathroom.
She did justice to her skin, scrubbing it with a Sponge to erase the dirty hands of that man.
But her skin turned red in the process and she gave up. She was only going to injure herself.
When she stepped out from the bathroom, Sebastian was still inside the room speaking on the phone.
She sighed inside, ignore who he was speaking with as she already knew.
As soon as she sat in front of the dressing table, Sebastian’s attention diverted to her.
“I’ll call you back, honey,” he said to the other person over the phone. Vivienne scoffed inside.
Honey? She shook her head in her mind. Wasn’t Sebastian taking advantage of her weakness to maltreat her?
One year ago, Vivienne wasn’t this kind of a person. She never tolerated any form of maltreatment from anyone. Not even her sponsors back then.
But why now? Just because she wanted to be a submissive wife? She gasped.
“Look at your skin…” Sebastian ran his fingers down her arm. Vivienne stayed still.
But the more he moved down and down, she felt a sensation running in her blood.
And the moment he grabbed her Boobies, Vivienne completely gave in to him.
An hour later, she opened her eyes from the bed but Sebastian wasn’t beside her again.
Vivienne covered her face with her hands, letting her tears fell freely.
How stupid she was to let Sebastian have her an hour ago. The man she saw with another woman, making love in a hotel just few nights ago?
“I’m so stupid.” She went back to the bathroom and washed herself thoroughly then came out again.
Her phone beeped and when she checked, it was a message from Sebastian telling her to hurry to his office to take another document he has prepared for the man.
Vivienne let out a deep sigh. She looked around the room but he has already taken the document he dropped earlier.
“Why his company of all places!” she exclaimed. The number one places she hated to go was his company then some other places.
People there would look at her as if she wasn’t a human like them. Maybe because she dropped her career, they thought she was a gold digger.
If there was someone who should be referred to as a gold digger, then it should be Sebastian.
Because he was the one using her fame to get whatever he wanted from business Tycoons in that city.
Her sponsors too, they never turn down any of Sebastian’s request.
“Here I go again.” She picked up a new colored scarf from the wardrobe and headed out of the room.
“Today, I’m not going to let any man take advantage of me. I’ll fight with my power.” She tightened her lips then closed the door.
Vivienne didn’t even see Sebastian’s Mum who was sitting on the three sitter sofa in the living room when she came out. The next thing she heard was her voice echoing through the mansion.
“Where do you think you are going?” Vivienne stopped, her hand on her chest. She was so startled.
“You have to cook for me, you know,” Vivienne sighed. There were more than two maids in the house. Why don’t they do her cooking? Why would she be the one to be slaved around?
“Mother in-law, Sebastian sent me a message to meet him at the company.” She showed her phone.
“What Sebastian? He wouldn’t do that. It is one of your men that you want to go see outside!” she snapped at her.
“I have to go now, mother in-law. I’ll instruct one of the girls to make your favorite.”
Without waiting for what the woman would say, she went in to the maid’s room and called one of them out.
“I’m going out, make sure you cook for mother in-law,” she said to the girl but the girl didn’t even show any respect to her.
“What about you? I mean, you have been the one doing that,” she said rudely.
Vivienne wasn’t surprised. She knew that one day, that would happen and it did.
“If you like, do not do that.” She was pained that a maid that had respected her more than the old woman herself was now speaking to her as if she was a colleague of hers.
