Chapter 55

“Come on babe, do not ruin this romantic moment. I’ve come back to my senses and it’s true that I shouldn’t act again.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck and planted a kiss on his lips.

Sebastian was convinced that she might have come back to her senses and was saying the truth.

After all, he already heard Marcus was imprisoned by Sterling so, there was nothing Vivienne would do there anymore.

Vivienne allowed him kissed her passionately before she withdrew from him and returned back to the bed.

“I brought your favorite wine.” She picked up the bottle of blue berries wine which was on the bed.

“That’s so thoughtful of you, you even brought me a gift,” Sebastian chuckled softly.

He went to the bed where she was sitting and they kissed for some moments again.

“I can’t wait to run my tongue down there and to suck my babies.” Sebastian winked at her.

She laughed romantically before opening the lid of the bottle.

“Can I pour?” she asked him, picking the glass cup from the table.

But Sebastian took the wine from her and started drinking it. He wasn’t even interested in the wine, he was much more interested in Vivienne.

Halfway through drinking, Sebastian dropped the bottle on the floor breaking it in to pieces.

He grabbed Vivienne by her waist and pinned her on the bed. The drugs which she poured inside the wine was already doing it’s job.

As he was trying to undress her, Vivienne pulled him away with all her energy.

“What’s wrong?” he asked her but she ignored him and went to the table where her bag was.

Vivienne brought out two papers from her bag with a pen and returned back to the bed.

“You can only get what you want with me after signing these papers.” she waved them on his face.

Sebastian was dumfounded. Sign the papers before having what he want?

He was already in the mood and his vision was getting blurry. He didn’t know if it was his desire playing with him or she put something inside the drink.

“You have to be fast, honey. I told Sterling I don’t want to work in his company again and he said until you sign these papers will he released me.” she said worriedly.

Seeing her that way, Sebastian took the papers from her and signed them without looking at what was written on them.

As soon as he signed the papers, Vivienne took them from him and started laughing.

“You think I’m a fool to want you back?” she laughed on his face.

Sebastian felt so stupid to have believed Vivienne. Because he was so stupid to have sex with her, he thought what she was doing was true.

“You think you’ll get away with this?” He pointed a finger at her trying to stand up from the bed.

But he fell back and lose consciousness.

As soon as he fell back on the bed, Vivienne picked her bag and hurried out from the room.

“Done!” She waved the papers to Assistant Li who was standing outside the room.

They both left the hotel as soon as they could before Sebastian would wake up and go after them.

On their way going back home, Vivienne couldn’t stop thinking Assistant Li.

She was finally free from Sebastian. She was no longer his wife and he would stop stalking her.

“That was so much fun. I thought Sebastian was wide enough to know that was a trap.” Assistant Li shook his head.

“Forget about that, Li. Men lose their minds when they see a naked woman.” they both laughed together.

4:00pm that same day, Vivienne was woken up by the ringtone from her phone.

She opened her eyes slowly and yawned before picking the phone to see who was disturbing her nap.

“Sterling?” She sat upright before answering the call.

“Where are you?” Came Sterling’s angry tone.

Vivienne raised a brow. She checked again to see if it was Sterling that really called her or she was mistaken.

But it was Sterling, the way she saved his number was what appeared on the screen.

“I’m at home. Is there any…” Sterling interrupted her.

“Stay there and do not leave!” he disconnected the phone which confused her.

She wondered what was happening that he wanted to see her urgently and sounded that way over the phone.

“Hope I’m safe,” she sighed while coming down from the bed.

“Ms. Vivienne!” Lia barged in to the room startling Vivienne.

“What’s wrong with you,” Vivienne gasped.

“I’m sorry but you have to check this out.” She gave her phone to Vivienne.

Vivienne’s pupils enlarged when she saw the video of her with Sebastian in a hotel room.

What happened between them hours ago was already showing in the news.

She released the phone on the floor and supported her weight on the wall.

The only thing that crossed her mind at that moment was she has already lose Sterling.

She didn’t even care of losing her career but was scared she would lose Sterling.

No wonder he sounded so angry over the phone.

Assistant Li barged in to the room too holding his own phone with the video playing.

“What are we going to do now, Ms. Vivienne? What if Mr. Hawthorn already seen it?” Li said worriedly.

Vivienne was out of words. She didn’t even know what to say and for a moment, the world stopped in front of her.

Tears started rolling down her face. She blamed herself for being so stupid to think that was going to work.

Yes it did worked but Sebastian did got her. She didn’t know he would go there prepared.

“Vivienne!” Sterling’s voice echoed all through the apartment.

Vivienne started trembling in fears. She stood on her numb feet looking for where to hide.

She was scared Sterling might skin her alive if he set his eyes on her.

Why was she so foolish to have even down that. She could have followed it gradually and let Sebastian sign it by his own will.

Now, her image and her relationship has already crashed down.

No one would love her again and all her fans won’t have anything to do with her anymore.

Before she could find a way to hide, Sterling was already in the room fuming in anger.

“Mr. Hawthorn please…” Sterling pushed Assistant Li out of his way together with Lia who were trying to stop him from going close to Vivienne.

“Leave!” he thundered.

Both Lia and Assistant Li staggered out of the room leaving Sterling with Vivienne.

“I’m so sorry babe, please I can explain.” Vivienne pleaded, Drawing back from him.

“Explain what, Vivienne! Is this how you are going to repay me after all this?”

Sterling’s voice cracked. At that moment, what Fowler said the other day came running back in to his mind.

Everyone was leaving him. His Mum already left, his Dad did too, Isabella left, Marcus whom he trusted left too and now the woman he was in love with?

What has he done to deserve all that? And Vivienne didn’t know how to leave quietly till she caused another scandal?

What sort of a person does that to the person that loves them?

“You could have told me you wanted to go back to Sebastian instead of doing this,” Sterling said hopelessly.

“I’m so sorry, it isn’t what you are thinking. I’ll never go back to Sebastian, I’ll never leave you. I have no idea how this got out, Sterling,” Vivienne cried.

Sterling didn’t want to believe her because she was still wearing the same outfit from the video.

No one in their rightful senses would say that wasn’t real. Everything in that video was real.

“Please listen to me, Sterling. I can explain.” Vivienne pleaded.

She knelt on the floor and covered her face helplessly. The only person she has left didn’t even want to hear her out.

Seeing her that way, Sterling felt pity for her. Whatever might have happened, he knew Vivienne started it.

“Speak.” He finally said.

Vivienne lifted up her head and sniffled. She stood upright on her feet, went to the bed and brought out the remaining divorce paper in her bag.

“I’ve been telling him to sign this for months now but he has refused to. And now that I’m already in love with you, I wanted to end everything between Sebastian and I.” she showed him the paper.

“And to end it, you think having sex with him was the only thing to do?”

“No, I didn’t. We only kissed and I’m sorry about that. I have no idea someone was recording that. Please forgive me.” she fell on her knees.

Sterling sighed deeply. In as much as he was pained by what he saw, he still love his woman.

She did that because of him, because of the love she has for him.

“Who suggested this for you?” he asked her because he was sure she wasn’t behind that alone.

Vivienne gulped down. There was no way she was going to call Assistant Li’s name in to that less Sterling deal with him.

It wasn’t Assistant Li’s fault, he only helped her get what she wanted. And if she hadn’t gone to him for help, he wouldn’t have suggested that.

“I did that alone,” she said.

Sterling sighed. He went to where she was kneeling and squat down.

“You have no idea how my heart shattered in to pieces when I saw that,” he said.

“I’m so sorry, I’ll never repeat this again.” She apologized.

Sterling sighed again and shook his head.

“You silly girl…” He pinched her nose.

“Come on let’s go.” He sat upright stretching out his hand to her.

Vivienne took his hand and stood on her feet too.

“Where are we going?” she asked him as he led her out of the room.

“To do what you’ve pushed me in to doing.” Vivienne was confused.

“Clear the scandal, girl. Now, hold on to the paper, we’ll need it.”

Vivienne cleaned the tears on her face and left the house with him.

He didn’t go to his company like she thought, he took her straight to the city hall where the journalists were waiting for them.

“Mr. Hawthorn, they are all inside waiting for you.” Assistant Mike announced from the door.

He glanced at Vivienne and shook his head which made Vivienne lowered her gaze.

“Be strong, Ms. Vivienne. I know you can take care of this.” He gave her a thumbs up.

Vivienne tightened her lips and nodded her head. Instead of being scolded, she was being treated like a princess.

Sterling took her inside the hall and there, they took care of the scandal.

She told them she did that just to make him sign the divorce papers because he had refused to sign it.

Vivienne apologized to all her fans and Sterling too for being so stupid and she promised them she was never going to repeat that ever in her life.

Because the video was on live, everyone in that city and beyond saw the news before they would step out from the hall.

No one blamed Vivienne again. They all supported what she did and Sebastian became their center of gossips.

The people that didn’t know Sebastian was the monster she got married to found out that day.

Immediately they came out and were about to enter the car before her fans would start trooping there, a car Screeched in front of their car blocking the way.

“Fowler?” Vivienne was shocked.

She didn’t expect to see Fowler again ever in her life after what happened at the camp.

“Vivienne?” Fowler left the car door opened as he hastened to her.

“Tell me you are alright. Did that bastard did anything to you? Did he hurt you anywhere?”

Fowler held her hand, turning her around to see if she was injured anywhere.
