Chapter 107 (OPPORTUNITY)

“Me?” Harry pointed to his chest. “Yes,” she nodded her head. “What if she yelled at me.” He chuckled. “She won’t, she need help,” she laughed softly. “What about you? You have two trolleys too.”

“We are done already. Just help take it there and then go help her bring hers.” She pointed to the relaxation center. “Okay.” Harry and Emily pulled the trolley to the place and he went to help Naomi.

“Can I help?” he asked. But instead of answering, she moved aside leaving the filled trolley for him. Harry pulled it and she followed him with the other one. They went to where Emily was, her things were been packed in bags already when they went there.

“This too,” Harry said to the lady and she called two of her colleagues to come help her. Michael returned back with his. His trolley wasn’t full. He wanted to pick many things but he thought it might cost a fortune and he wasn’t the one to pay.

“Naomi.” He moved closer to Naomi who was sitting on a sofa, watching the ladies put her things in bags. “Is all that yours?” he asked and she nodded her head. “Whoa!” He exclaimed.

“You should have taken just four to five things.” He said and she chuckled. “Are you kidding me? He was the one that said we can pick whatever we want.” She rolled her eyes.

“But that isn’t an excuse for you to pick out the whole store.” Naomi scoffed and turned her face away from him. “Keep talking,” she said to him.

After everything was packed, Harry gave his Debit card to a lady among them and the rest took the bags outside to be loaded in his car. When the girl returned back with the card, they all left the mall.

“Who wants ice cream?” Harry asked but the twins didn’t answer him. “Me,” Emily said smiling. She has learnt to ignore the kids and do whatever she wanted with Harry. After all, they weren’t the ones to decide who she should love or not.

“What flavor?” he asked her. “Vanilla.” Emily adjusted Jeff. “Okay.” He looked at the mirror. “And you?” he asked Michael who was looking at him. Michael remembered Grandma’s warning.

“Strawberry,” he said. “And you?” he asked Naomi. “Vanilla,” she answered. Harry kept on driving and came to a stop at an ice cream shop. “I’ll be right back.”

He left the car leaving Emily and the twins.

“I see you guys are enjoying yourselves,” Emily said to them. “We are not,” Naomi said. “Grandma forced us to come if not, we wouldn’t have followed you guys.” Michael scoffed.

“Really?” Emily giggled. “You shouldn’t have taken anything either. You should have returned home empty handed since you didn’t want to go.” She grinned Mischievously.

“You know that’s impossible,” Naomi said to her. “It’s possible since you guys doesn’t like Harry. You don’t like him but you took the gifts from him.” She shook her head and clicked her tongue on the palate.

“He forced us,” Naomi snapped at her. “He didn’t. Harry didn’t force you guys. And you Naomi, you even bought more than I did. I am the girlfriend here and you, you are not even his sister but you made him spend a lot. And still, you don’t like him.”

“Mind what you said. Besides, he was the one that told us to pick whatever we want.” She rolled her eyes.

“That didn’t mean you should made him but the whole store. Even Jeff can’t do what you did. Next time, stay in your limit. If you want him to spend extravagantly on you, then stop acting rude to him. At least, it wasn’t his fault that your Dad got killed. Your late Mum did that out of selfishness. Am glad you were there when Clara said the things she did to her. I thought after that, you guys would come back to your senses but no, you decided to be like your Mum.” She Sneered.

“Emily, watch what you say,” Naomi warned her. “What if I don’t? Are you going to do the remaining things your Mum didn’t get to do? My advise for you guys, stop being rude to people. Your Mum would have aborted you even if your Dad was still alive. And if she decided to keep the pregnancy, you two won’t be her favorite children. Harry would still be because of her intention towards him.”

“And Michael, I’m so Disappointed in you. I never thought you would one day turn your back on me and follow your sister. You once told me you were beginning to like Harry. I know your sister changed your mind but you have to caution yourself.”

“You are a man, you will fall in love and get married someday. Would you divorce your wife or break-up with your girlfriend because your sister won’t like them?” she asked him but he didn’t say a word.

“He’s my twin brother and I can tell him to do whatever I want. Go do that with your step sister too if you are jealous of us,” Naomi said angrily.

“Eish girl! How can I be jealous of you? I can’t do the things you do. I can’t force my sister to do what I want. I’m not like you.”

Harry opened the door and entered the car. Emily was smiling while Naomi was looking so angry. Looking at Emily’s face, he knew Emily said something to them. He gave the ice creams to Michael and Naomi after given Emily hers.

Naomi didn’t eat the ice cream, she folded her arm watching the street angrily as they went home. They arrived home, they came down from the car and the maids came out to help them.
