The Billionaire’s Surrogate
Chapter 108 (A PIECE OF ADVICE)
Chapter 108
They took all the bags inside the apartment one after the other with Naomi and Michael. Harry and Emily stayed outside watching them take the bags inside.
“What did you say to them? Naomi was angry,” he asked her. Emily laughed softly, he watched her laughed to her satisfaction and then she lifted up her head.
“Now tell me what you did to them,” he demanded. “I just gave them a piece of my mind and told Michael to take his place. He’s a man, he shouldn’t let a woman decide what he should do,” she smiled.
“Emily, I knew you won’t let those kids rest that was why I stayed in the shop for some time to allow you speak senses in to them.” They all laughed.
“Let’s go inside.” Harry held her hand and they entered the living room. Naomi and Michael has separated their bags from Emily’s and we’re already taking them to their rooms.
“You let that girl bought all those?” Grandma said to Harry. “She wanted all and I was the one that told them to pick whatever they want,” Harry smiled. “She have no shame.” She shook her head.
“Grandma, I brought something for you too.” Emily picked out one bag from the bags there and gave it to Grandma. “What would I do with these?” She looked at the cosmetics in there.
“To look younger. You are already looking young and I want you to look younger.” She winked at her and Grandma laughed. “I’ll missed you so much my dear Emily.”
“I’ll miss you the most but I’ll come visit,” Emily smiled. She gave the maids one bag each too and that made them so happy. They thanked her and took the remaining four bags to her room.
Emily went to her room, she gave Jeff baby milk and Kay him down on the bed.
“Time to pack up. I have a lot to take. After all, I won’t come back here now.” She looked around the room and sighed. “I’ll miss here, I’ll miss everyone. I already missed everyone from the Quarters even though some of them didn’t like me then,” she smiled.
“But I’m glad I helped them out.” She heaved a sigh of relief. “Time to pack.” She went to the wardrobe, pulled out all her dresses and that of Jeff. She sat on the floor and started folding them one after the other.
It took her more than an hour to get everything folded. Harry had wanted to go to her room but he thought she was asleep because of the silence.
“Done! Now the bags.” She stood up from the floor, brought out their bags from the wardrobe and started with Jeff’s clothes. She arranged it in two bags and put hers in the remaining two bags. The bags were big but she had to press the dresses to make them fit in the bag.
“Finally!” She looked around the room and the only thing that remains to be packed was her shoes. “I’ll put them here.” She carried one of the shopping bags which had her things in it and put her shoes.
“Done and dusted.” She looked at the corner where she put everything and smiled. “I’m finally moving out and now with Jeff.” She was so happy that she wasn’t running away again.
“I’ll miss Harry a lot.” She tightened her lips. “Well, let’s go check what the twins are up to.” She left the room, her hands swung as she walked. She paused at Harry’s door, put her ear on it but thought he was sleeping and then walked away.
Naomi’s room was the first she went to, she wasn’t in her room but her bed was already dressed with the Teddy bears and the rest. Her shoe rack was filled with shoes of different kinds. Emily went and opened her wardrobe, her jaw dropped when she saw the massive amount of dresses in there.
“This girl.” She shook her head. “Let’s go see what Michael bought.” She left the room and entered Michael’s room. Naomi was with him talking to him about what Emily said to them in the car.
“What brought you here?” Naomi was leaning on the wall with her hand on her waist. “I came to see Michael,” she said. “Why? Michael doesn’t want to see you.”
“Let Michael say that by himself,” Emily said sitting on the bed. “No, he doesn’t have to say anything. Whatever I say is what he will agree on. Now go.” She pointed at the door.
“Naomi, drop this act. You are not even a teenager, you are 23 years already. You see my sister Tina, she’s 19 but she always behaves like an adult,” she smiled at Naomi. “What’s your point exactly?” she asked her.
“Act like someone your age. You were nice to me back at the Quarters. Why did you change all of a sudden when you found out I am in love with Harry? It’s because you don’t like him I know. Naomi,” Naomi interrupted her.
“Leave us alone. Yes we hate him, we hate the fact that you are in love with our Enemy. I’m just glad you will be leaving the house for us tomorrow. You won’t be here to disturb us again. Just go!”
“I’ll go but, do not allow this to eat you up. It would be too late for you to change when you dive deep in to this.” She looked at Michael. “I won’t come here to bade you goodbye tomorrow, there’s no need for that.” She looked at Naomi again and left the room.
“Why didn’t you say anything to her?” Naomi asked Michael who has been silent. “What do you want me to say? Emily was right,” he sighed. “Tell me you are not going back to her again just because of what she said.”
