“But Emily, what are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be with Harry?” Belle was confused. “I don’t stay there any longer,” she said “Why? And whose house is this?”

“This is my Aunt’s house. My mum’s sister, I found her while staying in Harry’s house. She was a worker there.”

“Wow!” Belle exclaimed. “So lucky of you. I thought you ran away from there again,” she said worriedly. “No.” Emily giggled. “And where is Harry?” Belle has so many questions to ask.

“Harry should be at the company now. Now tell me how you got my address.” Belle shook her head. “Harry and his Assistant, they suffered me.” She sighed. “How?” Emily chuckled.

“You see, I’ve been trying to reach you ever since you left my house but your phone has been switched off. Then I decided to go to his company to find out from him where you were. His Assistant and him always avoided me. I went there for weeks before I finally got to see Harry yesterday and he gave me your address.” Sheaved a sigh of relief.

Emily was so ashamed of herself, it was she who dad fought with Belle and didn’t listen to her. But it was Belle who cared about her and has been finding a way to see her.

“Emily, I was wrong about everything. I was just afraid that you might fall in to wrong hands and your life would never be the same again. I’m so sorry if everything I said to you back then still hurts you.” She apologized.

“Belle, I’m the one to apologize not you. You were right, you told me to use my brain but I didn’t. I did fell in to the wrong hand but thank God, I’m now free. I’m so sorry, Belle. I’m sorry for the yelling, the insults and everything I ever did to you. I would have lost a friend like you.” Tears dropped down her face.

“Come on girl, it’s alright.” Belle hugged her. “I’m the bad one here. I didn’t even care about you or whatever you are going through. You spent your time out of your work to come down to the city because of me. I’m deeply sorry.” She apologized again.

“Actually, I don’t live there again,” Belle smiled. “Really? Where do you live now?” Emily was surprised. “I live in the city now. I resigned from work over there but I’ve already got a job somewhere again,” she smiled.

“Where?” Emily asked. “Harry’s company. And it’s just to find you.” Bell burst in to laughter. “Oh my God! Did they know you work there?” Emily gasped. “No, I’ve been working there for a month now but Ron and Harry doesn’t know. They’ll find out today when I go there,” she laughed.

“Girl, you are so sweet.” Emily pecked her cheek. “And oh less I forget, your step mum came to me last month before I moved out. She wanted me to take her to you, she pleaded and she was crying. She said they wanted to apologize to you for what they did to you.”

“I found them,” Emily smiled. “Where?” Belle asked. “Today. I was coming back from there when your call came in. They live around here. I was taking a stroll down and decided to check on that house, it’s my Dad’s and Tina opened the door.” She exhaled deeply.

“This is life, step mum and Tina were crying while apologizing to me. I was so touched. The torture they made me went through while I was at home.” She shook her head.

“And?” Belle looked at her. “I forgive them. There’s no need keeping grudges with them since they’ve repented,” she smiled. “You are so kind. If it was me, I wouldn’t have forgiven them,” Belle said and they both laughed.

“Are you hungry?” she asked Belle. “No, I have to get going now. I’m already late for work.” She stood up. “I don’t want to lose this job again,” she said hanging her bag on her shoulder. “No one will fire you. Not even Harry,” Emily said.

“Why? He’s the owner of the company.” She went out of the room. “Because he’s my boyfriend,” Emily said and they both laughed. “You are right. Don’t worry, I’ll keep an eye on him for you. Those girls at the company must know he’s already taken by the most beautiful woman in the whole world.”

“Stop teasing me,” Emily laughed. She walked Belle down the street and when she got a taxi, she waved to her and went back home.

In the night, they all gathered in the sitting room after dinner. Hanna was playing with Jeff and at the same time doing Assignments. Madam Gloria was mixing the dough to be put inside the fridge for the next day and Emily was helping her. While her husband was reading a newspaper.

Emily told them about her step mum and Belle who had visited when they were having dinner. They all commended her for forgiving her step mum and step sister. Aunt Gloria said that was how Emily’s mum was too.

“Emily, you didn’t talk about the wicked woman,” Hanna said. “Which wicked woman?” Madam Gloria asked her daughter. “She’s talking about Evelyn.” Her husband said.

“Oh yes, it’s true. Tell us about her. What did she do when she returned and found the Servants all gone?” she asked Emily. “She freaked out,” Emily said and Hanna laughed. “And she’s dead.” They all looked at her shockingly.

“She died?” Emily nodded her head. “She committed suicide. Grandma found out the twins are her kids and she was told to apologize to them. But she said she would never apologize to them because she doesn’t regret what she did. That day, she went to her room and the next day, we found her lifeless body in her room.”
