“God!” Emily exhaled. “What are you going to do now that you’ve found out Harry isn’t her child?” Naomi asked Emily. “I’ll take Jeff away from her. Who knows what she would do to Jeff.” She said worriedly.

“I’ll help you get back your son,” Naomi said. “I once hate Harry but now, I pity him. He doesn’t even know what’s happening,” Naomi sighed.

“I still hate him,” Michael said. “Why?” Naomi was surprised. “She killed her husband because of him,” he said trying to hide his anger. “But it isn’t his fault. He won’t even be happy if he finds out about this,” Naomi said.

“That doesn’t change anything. It’s still his fault,” he argued with her. “Michael, the deed has already been done. Stop exaggerating it.” She tried to signal him to stop before he say something which Emily would find out the said man is their Dad but Michael didn’t were the signal.

“Michael, your sister is right. It’s not like I don’t hate Harry, I hate him for what he did to me and the fake contract he gave to me. But I think everything isn’t his fault. She killed her husband because of him without considering her own children just because she was desperately in need of a male child.” She shook her head.

Michael came back to his senses when Emily spoke. He looked at Naomi and she gave him the ' I told you' look.

“Okay but I still don’t like any of them.” He stood up. “I’m going back,” he said and Naomi stood up too. “I’m going in too. What about you?” she asked Emily. “I’ll come back later,” she said.

“Alright, see you later.” They walked away leaving her alone there.

“I still can’t believe this.” She chuckled. “Harry isn’t her child but she took control over him. I have to get my Jeff away from them, Harry can stay with her for as long as he found out the truth, I don’t care about him.”

She stood up after some minutes and went back to the garden. Michael and Naomi weren’t there and she wasn’t surprise again. Those kids started hanging around ever since they Michael became close with her.

“Emily, what did you do to Naomi?” A girl asked her when she stepped inside the garden. “I don’t get it.” She raised a brow.

“I mean, what do you do to Naomi that she likes you now. Naomi doesn’t like you the first time you moved here but ever since you and Michael became close, she became friends with you.” The girl explained.

“Oh that.” She giggled. “Is it true that Naomi and Michael are dating?” a guy asked her and she chuckled. “Yes I want to know too. Naomi is too pretty to date someone like Michael.” Another girl said.

“Are you kidding me? What if Naomi and Michael are dating? Isn’t he a human like any of us here?” She shook her head.

“He is but not the type to date Naomi. She’s too pretty to fall in love with about in braces.” The girl rolled her eyes. “What’s wrong with him being in braces? You guys aren’t okay. You know what, kindly leave my side now before I get angry.”

“Whoa! Emily is tough.” A guy teased and they all laughed. She was the shortest among them all that was why they all looked down on her.

“What’s going on here?” Madam Gloria blesses the scene. “I’m talking to all of you,” she said to them when none of them say anything. “You are bullying her again right? How many times would I tell you to stop bullying each other?” she asked them.

“Emily, what did they do to you this time?” she asked Emily who was fuming in anger. “They are talking bad about my friends,” she said. “Who?” Madam Gloria was surprised. “Naomi and Michael. They are insulting Michael, they said because he’s in braces no girl will like him.” She said looking at the servants.

“You said that?” Madam Gloria sighed. “Get back to your works and when next you say this again, I’m going to punish all of you.” She pointed at them. “We are sorry Ma’am.” They apologized and went back to what they were doing.

“Emily, follow me.” Emily followed her out of the garden. “Emily, why are you going around with the twins?” she asked her. Emily was surprised when Madam Gloria asked her.

“You also know?” Emily asked her. “Yes, the kids told me they are twins the first day they moved here. Emily, I know who their mum is and it’s not safe for you to hang out with them. I heard everything she said to you that night. She can harm your son if you don’t stay away from the kids,” she said worriedly.

“Ma’am, I’m not afraid of what she would do to my Jeff. She won’t even do anything to him. Harry is there to protect him.”

“You have no idea what that woman is capable of doing. Anyways, let’s agree she can’t harm him because of Harry. But what if she does?”

“She won’t. I have the believe that she won’t,” Emily smiled. Madam Gloria smiled, she Emily’s hair and chuckled softly. “You remind me of someone,” she said. “Who?” Emily asked. “Her name’s Lilly,” she smiled. “Now get back to work and don’t forget what I told you. Limit your closeness with those kids for now.” She said again and Emily nodded her head.

She knew she won’t stay away from Michael and Naomi like Madam Gloria has said. Their love was always increasing in her heart ever since she met them.
