Next morning just as Grandma has said. Emily took Jeff out of the apartment after feeding and bathing him. She went found the house with him and at the end, she went to the Quarters. She didn’t find them at the Quarters and then decided to go to the garden.

But just as she was heading to the garden, she saw Michael and Naomi coming back. It was as if they knew she was there.

“Guys!” She waved to them and they ran to her. “Emily, you came.” They ran to her excitedly. “Hello, meet Jeff!” She held him up and Naomi covered her mouth.

“He’s so cute!” She touched his cheeks. “What an adorable kid. Look, he’s smiling.” Naomi took him from Emily. “How did you come out with him? They didn’t stop you?” Michael asked her.

“Grandma told me to bring him out after I said to her yesterday that I want to take Jeff to the park outside the house. Harry was there and he protested. He said I should not take his child out of the house.”

“But how did you manage to bring him here?” Naomi asked playing with Jeff’s little hand. “Grandma said so, she said I should take him out of the apartment since Harry doesn’t want him to be taken out. He’s just afraid I would run off with him.” She shook her head.

“Isn’t that what you want to do?” Naomi asked her. “Yes.” She rolled her eyes. “You’ll run away and leave us here? Cruel.”

“Hey come on, I’m sorry. I didn’t even think about that. You know I won’t leave the house without you.” She smiled. “Whatever. So how are you dealing with Harry and his so called Mum?” said Naomi

“You know what I’m planning to do?” She looked around. “Let’s go there and I’ll tell you.” They followed her and they sat at the back of the Quarters. Their usual place for planning things.

“I want to make Harry fall in love with me,” she whispered. “Whoa!” They twins exclaimed. “Are you sure this will work?” Naomi wasn’t sure. “It will work. You know his Mum won’t like it if she finds out Harry is in love with me. She’ll try to stop him but he won’t and that would cause misunderstanding between them.”

“You are so smart. Seconded.” Naomi winked at her. “Same here. I wish you the best,” he smiled. “Thank you. Emily will bring you two back to where you belong,” she smiled.

“That reminds me. Evelyn has been disturbing me about her diary. She found out it went missing.” Naomi and Michael exchanged glances and chuckled.

“What did you say to her?” he asked her. “I told her it isn’t with me but she still won’t believe me. She has forgotten you visited her once,” Emily laughed. “Can you just tell her, her diary is with me? I have something in store for her,” she smiled Mischievously.

“Are you sure?” Emily asked and she nodded her head. “What do you want to do?” Michael asked her. “Don’t worry, you’ll soon find out.” She turned to Emily. “Make sure you tell her, her diary is with me. She’ll come here.”

“Alright I will.” Emily smiled. She watched the twins played with Jeff. They had other discussions again and she left after an hour. She promised she’ll bring Jeff to them the next day.

Evelyn was in the sitting room showing a maid where she should clean when Emily opened the door and entered, carrying Jeff on her shoulder. She was surprised to see Emily coming in with Jeff.

“Where did you go with that kid?” she asked her Surprisingly. “You can go,” she said to the maid. “Where did you go with him?” she asked again after the maid has left.

“I took him outside,” she smiled. “Outside, why? Who told you to take him outside?” Evelyn dropped her phone on the table. “Grandma said that.” She rolled her eyes.

“Emily, you are trying to run away with him right?” she asked. “Yes,” Emily nodded her head. “Besides, he’s my son and I can take him anywhere I want to.”

“Are you out of your mind?” Evelyn looked around. “Don’t your dare say this in this house again,” she warned. “You are afraid Grandma would find out I’m Jeff’s Mum right?” Emily chuckled softly. “Do not worry. Grandma will soon find out even though none of us tell her.”

“You dare not do anything that would result to that. And for what you did to Harry yesterday, do not repeat it again. Stay away from my son, I’ve already warned you.”

“Your son? The last time I checked, you only have one son and that is Michael.” Emily gasped. “He’s not my son!” She bit her lip angrily. “Oh really? He’s not your son? Is it because he’s on braces?” Emily laughed.

“The earlier you embrace your kids, the better. Harry would find out you are not his real Mum and things won’t go well for you especially if he finds out you killed the twins Dad because of him,” she smiled.

“Emily, stop talking about this!” she warned. “No I won’t. Just wait till I make your favorite son fall in love with me,” she giggled. “Don’t you dare…” She cut her off. “And for your diary, it’s with Naomi.”

Emily smiled and went up the stairs giggling.

“What!” Evelyn exclaimed. “I knew it, I knew it was that girl that took it from my room. I’ll make sure I get it back.”

She stormed out of the house angrily, forgetting her phone which was on the table. She yelled the driver’s name and he came running to her.

“Get the car ready.” She said. “Are we going out?” He dared asked. “No, we are staying in. Come on get out!” she shouted at him and he hurried away.
