The Billionaire’s Surrogate
Chapter 60 (BECAUSE HE LOVES ME)
Chapter 60
“I’m still angry with him, I have other things to do with him but this is a gift.” She smacked her lips. “This is so beautiful. I can’t wait to show this to Belle when I’m out of here.” She held it to her chest happily. “Tina’s heart will blast when she sees this.” She laughed softly.
“A gift from a billionaire because he loves me, not because he wants to make me do something I don’t want again.” She removed the watch from the box and gently put it on her wrist.
“Wow!” Emily exclaimed. “This is so pretty. I love it.” She kissed it and held her hand to her chest. “I love this.”
“I thought she’ll jump in excitement.” Harry threw his tie on the bed. “She is mad at me for making her sign a fake contract. What should I do to make her love me again?” he sighed.
“Should I buy her another gift?” He shook his head. “she won’t accept it. What would she want?” He turned around and left the room to go ask his Grandma.
“Grandma.” He knocked on her door. “It’s me, Harry. Your grandson.” He knocked again but she didn’t answer him. “Grandma.” He called her name and knocked again.
“What! Come in and stop knocking on my door. You don’t even knock when you come here, I wonder why you are knocking now.” She sat upright as he entered the room.
“What brought you here?” she asked him. “I came for…” His phone started ringing. “Excuse me please.” He left the room to go answer the phone.
“Hi Mum, you didn’t call me.” Harry closed the door and went out. “I’m sorry son. How have you been?” she said over the phone. “I’m good. And you?” he asked.
“I’m good.” Harry raised a brow. “But why did your voice sounds like this, are you sick?” he asked her. “No son, I just woke up and the only person that crossed my mind is you.”
“Awn Mum. I missed you already,” he sighed. “I missed you too. Hope you went to work today and you are taking care of yourself? And again do not forget to stay away from Emily. Don’t let her get in to you. And make sure you don’t allow her to leave the house with Jeff.” She reminded him.
“I won’t forget that. I just come back from the office now and tired. We’ll talk after I rest a little,” he said. “Alright son, take care.” She ended the call and Harry smiled. “I missed you already.”
Harry didn’t return back to his Grandma’s room again, he went to his room and went inside the bathroom to take a shower.
Grandma went downstairs, she sat on the sofa waiting for dinner to be served. She was surprised Harry didn’t return back to her room again after the call.
“Ma’am, the dinner is ready.” A maid informed her. “Alright, go call Harry and Emily.” The maid left and she went to the dining.
Harry and Emily came down at the same time. He had wanted to talk to her as they went down the stairs but she walked ahead of him to avoid any conversation that would ensure between them.
“You are here. Join us Emily,” Grandma said Emily was surprised, Harry sat on the chair closer to Grandma. “I’ll just eat over there.” She pointed to the sofa.
“No, I insist you join us.” Harry lifted up his head and smiled. “Come on Emily, don’t be shy,” he said. “You heard that, Harry said you shouldn’t be shy.” She sat down on the chair facing Grandma ignoring his stare.
“I already told you to feel at home. Besides, two people can’t eat alone. We are now family.” She said and Emily smiled.
As they are, Harry wanted to involve her in their conversation but Emily didn’t say a word to any of them.
“That reminds me, what brought you to my room earlier?” Grandma asked Harry. “Oh I totally forget about that. It was Mum that called, you know how badly I missed her,” he sighed.
“Whatever, just tell me why you came to my room.” She said. “Okay, Grandma I just wanted to seek an advise from you,” he said.
“An advice, from me?” She was surprised. “Yes. How can you make someone fall in love with you, if that person doesn’t love you?” he asked.
Emily nearly chocked, she didn’t expect he would be talking to Grandma about that and in front of her.
“Just do whatever she wants, make her happy and but her a lot of gifts,” she said. “Are you in love?” Grandma asked him. “What if I say yes?”
“Oh my God! My grandson is finally in love.” She turned to Emily and then looked at Harry. “With who?” she asked. “With a girl. She’s as beautiful as the moon, her skin is as radiant as the sun. When she speaks, her smooth tender voice melts the heart. She’s as calm as the swan floating on the river. Her eyes,” Grandma interrupted him.
“Harry, am I dreaming or this is a reality?” She cleaned her face with her palm just to be sure. “Grandma, I’ve found the one for me,” he smiled.
“Wow!” she exclaimed. “Who’s that lucky girl? I can’t wait to see her.” She patted his back softly. “You’ll soon see her.”
