“You weren’t comfortable in there?” she asked him and he nodded his head. “Why?” Emily asked. “I just,” she interrupted him. “They are your Servants.” Harry paused, he looked at her and smiled.

“What’s with the smile?” She rolled her eyes. “Emily, I know when you aren’t saying the truth,” he said. Emily was surprised by what he said. “What do you mean?” she asked him. “My baby doesn’t lie.” He touched her cheeks.

“We’ll see later.” He released her hand. “Make sure you eat when you go home. Do not wait for me,” she said to him and Harry smiled. “I will, bye.” He waved to her. She watched Ron drive out of the hospital.

“What does he mean by that?” she wondered. She turned around and bumped into Michael because she wasn’t looking at the way.

“What was that?” Emily was startled. “Hey, you startled me.” She put her hand on her chest. “Let’s go.” He held her hand and dragged her to the room. Grandma wasn’t there, she has went to see the doctor and left Jeff with them. But for the hateness they had for Harry, none of them touched Jeff and they left him on the sofa.

“What was that?” Naomi asked her. “What?” Emily was confused. “What’s with you and Harry? You guys were holding hands earlier,” Naomi said. “And you touched each other’s face before you came to the room. I saw you,” Michael added.

“I thought we agreed that you would only take vengeance on what he did to you and not fall in love with him.” Naomi reminded her. “Yes Emily, tell us what you and Harry are up to,” Michael demanded.

Emily stared at them without knowing what to say. She knew she told them she doesn’t love Harry again for what he did to her. But she couldn’t remember promising them she won’t fall in love with him.

“When did I promise you guys I won’t fall in love with him?” she asked them. “Are you saying we are lying?” Naomi asked her. “No but I didn’t promise you anything. And why are you guys angry?” She was confused.

“We are angry for the fact that you broke the promises and the fact that you and Harry were holding hands. Tell us what’s happening.” Naomi said looking straight at her.

“Look guys,” Michael interrupted her. “Just tell us already,” he said. “Fine, I and Harry are in love,” she said. “What!” The twins exclaimed. “Wait, I don’t get it. You and Harry are in love. Then what about the vengeance you said you would take?” he asked her.

“It was all a misunderstanding. It wasn’t Harry that gave me the document on purpose, it was your Mum that exchanged it with the real one,” she explained to them.

“Our Mum? She’s now our Mum because she did something to your boyfriend right?” Naomi chuckled. “You know what, we don’t care if she was the one that exchanged it or not. But we want you to break up with Harry, stay away from him.”

“Why?” She was shocked. “Because we don’t like him. We understand he’s Jeff’s Dad but you can’t fall in love with him,” Michael said and Emily chuckled.

“Are you kidding me? You want me to break up with the man I love because you guys doesn’t like him? Do you even know the amount of pain he would be in when he finds out Evelyn isn’t his Mum? Stop being selfish.” She gasped Surprisingly.

“We are selfish now because we don’t want you with Harry? We don’t care about whatever you will think. We don’t like Harry, we don’t like Grandma and we don’t like anyone related to that family.”

“Harry isn’t part of the family.” She reminded them. “But our Dad was killed because of him. We didn’t even get to see him,” Michael snapped at her. “Just stay away from Harry or stay out of our lives,” Naomi said to her.

“Do you guys know what I’ve been through my whole life? You don’t know. My step Mum doesn’t like me, she treated me like I’m a servant even when my Dad was alive. Sometimes, she would hit me in front of him and he won’t say anything. Did I hate my Dad for that? No! My step mum sent someone to tell me I should not bother coming home again that they don’t need me in their lives. Do I hate them? No!”

“I found happiness, I found out what it feels like to be loved when I met Harry. I know it was a bump start because he was being controlled by your Mum. But now, he has found love and already a changed person. I love Harry, he loves me and I will never break up with him. If you think I will break up with him, then you are wrong. I can’t sacrifice my happiness to anyone again, I’ve done that before and I learned my lesson.” She went to the sofa, carried Jeff and left the room.

Emily met Grandma on the way coming back from the doctor’s office. She quickly put on a smile on her face and increased her pace.

“Are you going home?” Grandma asked her. “Yes, the nurse said only one person should stay with her and Michael said he would stay with her.” She lied. “Does that means we have to leave?” she asked Emily. “Yes.”

“Poor kid, I don’t know why they have so many useless rules nowadays in hospitals,” she sighed worriedly. “I’ll go say good-bye to them.” Grandma wanted to go but Emily stopped her. She lied to her again that a nurse was attending to Naomi and won’t be happy to see her there.
