I Married My Ex-fiance’s Father
Chapter 35.
Chapter 35
The moment I stepped out of the presentation hall two hours later, I met my secretary who should have been at her desk.
Her face wasn't as happy as I saw it earlier on, she looked worried.
“What is the problem?”
I asked her while nodding to the employees who were bowing their heads to me.
“I am sorry, ma’am, I tried to stop him from going into your office, but he slapped me and went in.”
Uhn?
Who dares slap my secretary just like that?
I didn't ask her who it was as my blood was already boiling in anger.
How dare the person?
No one can trespass into my company and treat my employees the way they want.
I barged into my office, and sat on the chair with his legs resting on the desk was Harris.
Ahn ahn!
He was the first person who crossed my mind the moment the secretary mentioned she had been slapped.
Harris is a fool,
And he doesn't care who he raises his hand to.
He even has the effrontery to sit on my chair.
“And there she comes.”
He clapped his palms, chuckling.
I folded my arms, walking towards the desk in surprise.
“I thought you would return all that Dad has handed over to you, but you haven't. Why?”
He asked with a smirk.
I couldn't help but marvel at his arrogance.
“Harris?”
I called, stopping in front of the desk.
“Before I say anything, get off that chair!”
I commanded, but he only burst into laughter.
Maybe he has forgotten I still haven't forgiven him for everything and I am still on my stand for revenge.
“Are you deaf?”
I tilt my neck to the right, looking at him with a smirk.
“Get off now!”
My voice echoed in the office like a lightning bolt and he stood up instantly.
Fool!
I shoved him out of my way, sat down on the chair, and crossed my legs.
“I am the boss here, and when I give a command, you should obey me.”
He frowned.
“How dare you, Blair!”
Pfft.
“Now listen attentively.”
I folded my arms again.
“Don't you ever come into my company and do whatever you like. And first,”
I got up from the chair, sauntered towards him, and dipped my hand in his pocket.
I pulled out his wallet, opened it, and took away a bunch of dollar notes.
Harris stared at me mouth agape, unable to say a word.
And what did I do with the cash I took from his wallet,
I beckoned to my secretary and passed the cash to her.
“A compensation for the slap.”
She took the money, bowed her head, and left happily.
“And second.”
I turned to Harris.
“Don’t you ever come into this company and think you can do whatever you like, this is my place and you must obey me.”
He jerked out of his shock and snatched my wrist.
“Return that money, now!”
Oh, is he just realizing that I gave it out?
Hahaahhaha.
“Make me!”
I yelled at him and he released my wrist.
“Tell me what brought you here, jerk!”
I went back to my chair.
“To take back everything Dad gave you, slut.”
Slut?
Harris is chasing trouble, I swear.
If not for the fact that I am still trying to win back my husband’s heart, I would have had him arrested for calling me that name.
“Did Fredrick send you to retrieve them?”
I asked even though I know Frederick will never do that,
“Dad doesn't have to give the order. I know what is in his heart because I am his son.”
Really?
“Can you tell me all the things in his heart? Do you see me there?”
He hissed and I burst into laughter.
“Dad hates you now, fool. Don't even think he will take you back. And for your information, I will make sure he takes back all the things he gave you.”
He put his hand in his back pocket and took out a little heart-shaped box.
Wait,
That looks familiar.
It resembles what Frederick gifted me on my birthday.
“If you are guessing on it, then you have guessed right.”
He said.
What da!
My diamond ring?
What on earth is he doing with it?
And how did he even get a hold of it?
“This costs 4 million dollars so, it is now in my possession.”
He grinned mischievously.
“If I could take this from the room Dad sleeps in, imagine what other things I can take away from that room.”
“You thief!”
I lengthened my hand to snatch it from him, but he stepped back and put it back in his pocket.
“You are the thief, Blair. You came into our house and stole my happiness away from me. Well, now that you are out of the house, I will make sure I take back all that Dad has given you,”
He looked around the office.
“Including this company.”
What a joke.
Just because he succeeded in stealing the ring from Frederick’s room doesn't mean he would be able to get back everything from me.
I won't give him a dime,
And I will make sure I take that ring back.
“You see that ring? Frederick will certainly discover it missing and look for you. He knows you are the only thief in the house,”
Oh, I forgot.
“You and your wife. If he doesn't find it in her possession, then he will find it in yours.”
He angrily raised his hand,
However, I blocked him and smacked his face instead.
Harris staggered back, holding his face shockingly.
“Leave now or I'll call the security!”
I screamed at him.
But he didn't,
He yanked forward, raising his hand, but I slapped him across the face again,
And this time, I punched him on the chest so hard that he fell.
Then I reached for the telephone and called security.
By the time Harris got up on his feet, the security was already inside the office.
“Take this fool out!”
I commanded.
They bowed their heads and grabbed his arms.
“Release me, you fools! Do you know who I am?”
He shouted at them.
“We don't care who you are, Mr. Harris. We won't allow you to attack our boss in her office.”
Wonderful!
Frederick has indeed trained them well.
“Take him away!”
I commanded and they dragged him out of the office.
