I Married My Ex-fiance’s Father

Chapter 47.

Chapter 47

Chapter 47.

While Blair remains in the hospital, I hunt down Harris and his wife who hasn't returned home.

And even though no place was left unturned in the city, they couldn't be found.

Harris and his wife have left the city since they know the immensity of what they did.

But no matter how long they take to return to this city, they will surely pay for what they did.

Jessy won't go away with it,

I will make sure she spends a month or more in prison to reflect on her actions.

“Since Mrs. Frederick lost a ton of blood, the baby will keep developing for one more month. Meaning, she won't deliver the baby in the said month, till the following month.”

Well,

As long as Blair and the baby are okay,

That isn't a problem.

TWO WEEKS LATER

~BLAIR~

We could have left the hospital one week ago, but another problem arose which kept us for one more week.

Nevertheless, the baby is fine, and so am I.

During the crisis, all I wished for was for the baby to be alright.

Even if something was going to happen to me, I wanted the baby to be saved so Frederick wouldn't be broken entirely.

But the doctors stayed on my head for the whole night and succeeded in tackling the issue.

When we arrived home that day,

Harris and Jessy were in the dining area, having dinner.

I wondered when they returned because when Frederick came to the hospital in the morning, he said they weren't yet back.

Well,

If I were them, I wouldn't have returned so soon.

These two have no idea what Harris has in store for them.

If they do, maybe they will never set foot into this mansion again.

“And there she is.”

Jessy said to Harris the moment she sighted me.

Harris dropped his fork, got up from the chair and she did the same thing.

Frederick isn't here, he had something to do at the company so, he ordered the driver to bring me home.

“She can even walk on her legs.”

Jessy sneered, crossing her arms.

“I can see.”

He looked at my legs, then hissed.

What on earth are they trying to do?

Instead of being scared, I swear, I felt nothing.

I stood there looking at them disgustingly.

Harris and Jessy don't scare me,

If there is anyone who should be scared, then it is them.

But it seems like they have forgotten what I can do to them, or make Frederick do to them.

“What do you want me to do to her, baby?”

He asked Jessy.

She smirked her lips and stepped forward.

“I want this gone.”

She pointed at my bump.

The moment she did that, I burst into laughter.

“Are you guys kidding me?”

The way they were acting was so funny, seriously.

She wants my baby gone?

Hahahahaha

She is indeed out of her mind.

“Laugh as much as you want, Blair. When you are done, then…”

She passed him a syringe.

“You took one life, but I am going to take two.”

What nonsense is he puking?

And what are they doing with that syringe?

“You want to inject me to death?”

Hahahahaha.

I laughed at them again.

But the way I was laughing carelessly must have angered Jessy,

She snatched the syringe from Harris and raised her hand.

“Whoa! Is that a knife?”

Hahahahaha

“The doctor who gave you the syringe didn't teach you how to use it?”

She bit her lip angrily.

“You are so annoying, Blair.”

Harris scoffed.

“You’d better stop your wife from doing what she wants to do. You guys know what Frederick can do when he finds out about this.”

Harris got the message,

He turned to Jessy and gently brought down her hand.

“Leave me alone, Harris, I want revenge, she killed my baby.”

She cried.

Ahhh

Jessy is indeed stupid.

My revenge is on them alone, not on the innocent kids they will have.

“Calm down.”

He whispered into her ear and she sniffled.

“Are you sure about this?”

She asked him.

“Yes, just do as I say.”

She wiped her face, glared at me, and gave the syringe to Harris.

Harris in turn passed it to the maid close by and ordered her to dispose of it.

As soon as she left, Frederick returned.

Gosh!

He should have seen Jessy in action, I will definitely love what he will do to her.

“You guys are finally back!”

Frederick clapped his hands, laughing excitedly.

He has been waiting for them, so let's see what will happen next.

“Dad, listen.”

Harris hid Jessy behind him.

“Listen to what? There is nothing to listen to. That bitch over there is sleeping in prison today. And if you want to join her, then you are welcome.”

He picked out his phone from the jacket’s pocket and dialed a number.

“Come to my house right now, I want you to lock someone in prison for me.”

“Dad, please do not do this. Jessy has regretted her action already.”

Really?

When was that?

Wasn't she the one trying to inject me a few minutes ago?

What a joke.

“No, do not plead. I have made this promise, and I won't break it. She dares to lock up my precious wife and unborn baby in the cell for a wrong accusation.”

That is why Frederick will always be in my heart.

“Please, Blair, talk to Dad.”

Harris pleaded.

Pffft.

When I ain't a fool?

She must be locked up in a prison for as long as Frederick wants her to stay there.

When she comes out, she will have learned her lesson by then.

“No, I won't. I also want her to pass through what I went through, maybe double it.”

I shrugged my shoulders.

“Baby? Please do not break your promise,”

I said to Frederick in a pitiful tone.

“Do not worry, little dove, your wish is my command. Now tell me, how long do you want her to spend in prison?”

Hmmm

What should I say?

“What do you think?”

I asked him.

“Let’s make it one month.”

Harris dropped to his knees.

“Dad, Blair, please do not do this.”

He pleaded.

Come on, Harris, this isn't a stage for drama.

Who knows what he and Jessy are planning?

I mean, he even whispered in her ear earlier on and she released the syringe to him.

“Stop pleading with them, Harris, you are deflating me.”

Whoa!
