Chapter 90 (ANGRY WITH HIM)

“Emily!” He called but she didn’t answer him. She didn’t even close the door of his room. “I’m sorry but… what do you expect me to do?” He shook his head sadly.

All through out the day, Emily avoided Harry. She was angry with him for making her look so ashamed of herself. He tried to talk to her when he saw her in the living room with Grandma but she ignored him and left them.

“What’s wrong? Did you two have a fight?” Grandma asked him after Emily has left. “No, we are fine.” He also left to avoid any further questions from her.

“I don’t think these kids are alright. They’ve been acting strange for days now and now they are mad with each other.” She shook her head.

“This house has turned in to something else ever since Evelyn left. It has been more than two weeks already,” she sighed deeply. “Only God knows what that girl is up to. She told us she would only spend a week there but two weeks has already passed.” She inhaled.

8pm, Harry wanted to go talk to Emily to understand what he was doing but her door was locked. And she didn’t answer his calls either. He knocked and knocked on her door but she ignored him too.

“Emily, I’m sorry. Please open the door.” He pleaded. “Emily.” He called but she didn’t answer him. She left him outside and he left when he saw that she wouldn’t open the door for him.

Next morning, Harry went to his Grandma’s room. She knew he might come see him if they were really fighting with Emily.

“What is it?” she asked him. “It’s about the Servants,” he said. “What’s with them? Did they do something that you don’t like?” she asked him. “No, I want to free them.”

“You want to free them? How?” She was surprised. “I want them to go and live a new life. They shouldn’t be enslaved here for the rest of their lives. I want to make changes in my house.”

“Wow! My grandson has grown up. I thought you wouldn’t do anything on your own. I thought you’ll forever do things that your Mum wants,” she smiled. “That was then.” He stood up. “I love your courage.” She patted his back.

Harry left her room. He saw Emily coming out from her room but when she saw him, she went back and locked the door.

“I was so stupid.” He stamped his feet on the ground. He went to the living room and found don waiting for him. “You called, sir,” Harry nodded his head. He sat down on the sofa and sighed.

“Ron, I’ll be freeing all the Servants.” He said. “Really?” Ron’s face lit up. “Yes. I want you to go to the bank and…” He handed him a cheque. “Bring this money for me.” Ron looked at the cheque and nearly screamed.

“Boss, 80 million dollars?” He was shocked. “Yes, and be fast about it. I need two million dollars each in an envelope.” Ron divided it. “That’s 40 Envelops,” he said. “Yes, go now.”

Ron hurried out of the apartment. His boss has never given out that amount of money to anyone before.

Harry picked up his phone, he dialed Emily’s number again but she didn’t answer his call. He then sent her a message.

Emily picked up her phone when a message pooped in. She clicked it and leapt to her feet when she saw his message. ’ come out and call the Servants' she hurried out of the room and ran down the stairs.

Harry thought she would stop and speak to him but she ran out of the apartment.

“Aunt Gloria! Aunt Gloria!” Emily ran inside the garden. “What’s wrong with you?” a lady snapped at her. “Emily, are you okay?” Another one yelled at her.

“You startled us. And when did Madam Gloria became your Aunt?” Another one asked her. Emily was too happy to answer their questions. “Where’s Aunt Gloria?” she asked them but they only stared at her weirdly.

“I’m here. What is it?” Emily turned around. “Harry wants to see you,” she said happily. The Servants exchanged glances and some of them have started gossiping. “He wants to see all of you,” she said to them.

“Why?” One of them asked her. That was the question Madam Gloria wanted to ask. “Today is your lucky day, you’ll all be returning to your families!” She shrieked excitedly.

“Do you think we will believe you?” One if the girl’s Sneered. “Seriously? Then let’s go and find out.” She held Madam Gloria’s hand and dragged her out of the garden. “Call others and follow us.” Madam Gloria said to them.

The youngest among them was sent to go call others who were in the Quarters and the rest followed Emily and Madan Gloria. They waited in front of the apartment and Emily entered the house.

“They are here.” She said to Harry happily. Harry stood up from the sofa. As he was about to follow Emily, Grandma came down. “Why is Emily happy today?” she asked. “Because the servants will be freed,” Harry said to her.

“Awn, you have friends there?” she asked her. “Yes and my Aunt too.” Grandma raised a brow. “Who’s your Aunt?” she asked. “Madan Gloria and I found out yesterday,” Emily smiled excitedly. “Wow!”

The rest has already gathered around when they came out from the apartment. Ron also returned, he came out of the car carrying a very big bag.

Some of the girls there were seeing Harry for the first time while others where seeing him very closely. He was more handsome than some girl’s among the servants described him to each other.
