Chapter 18: Mr. Anderson’s Wife Had An Affair

Eve let out a loud scream and quickly zipped up her dress then covered her shoulders. “W–What are you doing here?” She took several steps back as the figure stepped forward.

“Stalking you. What else does it look like?” His lips curled into an evil smirk.

Eve’s heart pounded and her eyes darted to every corner. “A–Are you crazy! Have you lost it! Where is the staff?”

“Passed out.” He shrugged and caged her in between the wall. “Look at you, Eve. You thought I’m just gonna let you go like that? Why don’t I show you that trifling with someone like me is the biggest mistake you’ve ever made?”

“The biggest mistake I’ve ever made is believing your lies, Cole. I swear if you don’t get out of here, I’ll make sure you end up behind bars.”

“Oh, I’d like to see you do that after we do something nice to entertain your dear precious husband.”

“W–What are you gonna do?” Eve wrapped both arms around herself, shrinking against the wall. “I– I’m warning you, Cole. Don’t try anything crazy. I swear you’re going to regret it.”

The evil look on his face combined with a new scar that ran from his forehead to the side of his left eye made her shiver.

“Y–You’d better go out while I’m being lenient. If you love your life, leave me alone.”

“Even if you scream, no one is going to hear you. And, oh, I’d like to hear you scream several times.”

“Ah! Pervert, let me go!” Eve beat at his shirt as he suddenly grabbed her arm.

“I promised you I’m going to make you go through hell, Eve. And I won’t go back on my words.”

“Did Mia put you up to this?”

“What if she did? She’ll be so happy to see you in your rightful place.”

“If you do anything to me, Cole. I swear Ethan is never going to leave you alone.”

Eve managed to extricate herself from his hold and she ran to a corner of the room.

“In that case, I can’t wait for that to happen. Because after this, your precious husband is not going to leave you alone either.”

“Tsk tsk tsk. You’re so stupid, Eve.” Mia walked into the room and locked the door. “After what you did to both me and Cole, do you think you’re going to go scot-free?”

“Mia, you…”

“You should be grateful to me, Eve. I should be in your position right now and not the other way round. You snatched my family away and I had to live with those dirty people. I endured it and hoped to destroy you someday, but you just have to find out our secret. Now is not too late to fulfill my wish. I can’t wait to see how the world will react to the news that the all-mighty Mr. Anderson’s wife had an affair in a changing room of a boutique.”

“You’re not gonna do that, Mia.”

“Sure, I am.” Mia brought out her phone and snickered. “Honey, what are you waiting for? Strip her now and assault her. Make it look real so I can capture you from the right angles, also don’t let me capture your face.”

“At your command, Princess.” Cole chuckled. “This way, even if she points fingers at me, no one is going to believe her. You brought this to yourself, Evelyn. Ah, I’m dying to see you out of this filthy dress.”

“Focus, Cole! Do it now!” Mia commanded.

Eve glanced between the two idiots, her anger building up. Assault her in this changing room? In their dreams.

“Cole, wait!” Cole was about to yank the dress off her shoulder and she quickly stopped him.

“What is it, Eve? Any last words?”

Eve tilted her head and smiled. “Remember those days we go to karate classes together?”

“Ah, why are you bringing that up? Are you reminiscing about our memories together? Too late for you, Evelyn. As long as I live, I’ll only love Mia.”

“Awwwn, that’s so sweet, Honey.” Mia giggled from where she stood with her phone’s camera ready.

“Reminiscing my foot,” Eve spat out. “I just have one question for you, Cole. Who used to come first in the class?”

“Gloating about your glory, huh? You’re so sick in the brain, Evelyn. Even if you mention all your achievements today, that won’t stop me from doing what I set my mind to.”

Eve grabbed his head and sent a flying kick to his chin. She didn’t let him recover, and she kneaded him in the growing and sent him crashing into the opposite wall with one last kick.

“You’re so sick in the brain, Cole. I hold a black belt in karate, and I’m not afraid to use my skill on stupid people like you. The all-mighty Mr. Anderson’s wife can fend for herself. I don’t usually go savage, but if you ever try this nonsense on me again, I’ll make sure you receive worse.” Eve dusted her hands and picked up the dresses she’d come in with.

“And you.” She glared at Mia whose eyes and mouth were wide open. “Thank the heavens that I’m so busy right now. Stalk me next time and I won’t think twice before blowing your dumb head off.”

Eve stormed out of the changing room and met the female staff unconscious beside the door. She squatted down and patted the girl’s cheeks.

“W–What is going on?” The staff opened her eyes.

Eve locked the door and tossed the keys to her. “The culprits are inside the room. Get the security and have them investigated.”

The female staff nodded absentmindedly while scrambling to her feet. And Eve proceeded to where she’d last left the Stewardess.

“Oh my goodness, Madam, what happened?” Elena came to her with a worried look and several more dresses in her hands. “Did someone get on your bad side? You look mad.”

“Just some insignificant people.” Eve rolled her eyes. “I’m no longer in a shopping mood, Elena. Let’s grab everything and get out of this damned place.”

“O–Okay, Madam.” Elena cowered and quickly nodded.

They didn’t take long in the boutique. And after wiping it out, they went ahead to the other stores.

“Madam, nice perfumes are one of the important things that make a woman attractive. How about we get you many?”

“Sure, let’s pack them all.”

“You can also do with nice shaving cream and several conditioners to make your hair silky. Let’s get the most expensive ones, Madam.”

“Pack them all, Elena.”

“Madam, let’s get a new makeup set. And also a tiny kit. It comes in handy in case of emergencies.”

“Pack them all.”

“These jewelry are great, Madam.”

“Let’s buy all of them.”

“Madam, these set of shoes–”

“Grab them.”

“What about the nice sunglasses?”

“Get a dozen.”

Elena panted and wiped off her sweats. “How about we go home now, Madam? You’re no longer in a shopping mood and you seem mad… I wonder who got on your nerves.”

“Yeah, let’s go home.” Eve sighed. All thanks to Cole and Mia… Those two idiots had successfully spoiled her day.
