I Married My Ex-fiance’s Father
Chapter 11.
Chapter 11
Why am I hearing music in the house?
This has never occurred before.
Is it the servants?
I doubt it,
They can never do a thing such as this.
I left the room to go see who was playing that music in the house,
And when I stepped out of the room, I met Jessy coming out of their room.
She is wearing a knee-length black gown with ruffles at the edge.
She has a lot of makeup on her face, and her hair is pulled in a bun.
What is the occasion?
Did I miss anything?
When she saw me, she scanned me from head to toe and hissed, then turned away.
“Hey, Jessy?”
I called out to her.
She paused, looking at me disgustingly where I stood.
“Whoever played that music should turn it off.”
She looked to her left and right, then turned to me.
“Do I look like a maid?”
She pointed at her chest.
I closed the door and went to the living room where she stood.
“Everyone in this house answers to me as much as you all answer to Fredrick, so, I am ordering you now to go turn off that music.”
She shook her head and sighed deeply.
“Blair, I don't have your time. As you can see,”
She swirled slowly.
“Today is my birthday and I am throwing a party,”
Really?
What is today's date?
Oh, it is her birthday indeed,
How time flies.
Jessy is turning 23 today,
That means mine is in three days.
“But you aren't invited. Don't you even think of setting foot into that living room.”
Oh really?
Then let’s see how this party will end.
I returned to the room, picked up my phone from the bed, and called Fredrick.
“Hey baby, can you listen to this?”
I stepped out of the room so he could hear the loud music in the house.
“What sound is that?”
He asked over the phone.
“Jessy is playing loud music in the house. She said she is celebrating her birthday and when I told her I was so tired and wanted to take a nap, she yelled at me.”
I put on a fake cry.
“Is she nuts?”
Wonderful!
Fredrick is angry.
“Sorry, little dove, you must be feeling a headache now.”
“Yes, baby. Please call Harris so they can turn it off.”
I ended the call and burst into laughter.
Jessy hasn't seen anything yet,
She thought she could stop me from going to her birthday party and I would allow her to have it?
This house must become hell for them.
A few seconds later, the music was turned off.
And Jessy stormed inside the room.
“What was the meaning of that?”
She asked furiously.
“Come on, Jessy. You and Harris have messed up with the wrong person, and you are reaping what you sow.”
I laughed shortly.
“Didn't I tell you I would make this house a living hell for you and Harris?”
She bit her lip angrily.
“You are going far with this, Blair. You'd better stop now or regret it when I start showing you my true colors.”
Oh, she still has the true color she hasn't shown me yet?
Well,
I am ever ready for that.
And it will be much more fun if she starts fooling herself in the name of fighting with me.
“Of course not, baby girl. You and Harris called for this and I am giving you back what you gave me.”
I laughed again.
Jessy stepped forward and raised her hand to slap me, but Fredrick stepped in at that moment.
Wow!
I love this!
Hahahaha.
“Jessy?”
He called shockingly.
She dropped her trembling hand, her eyes widening in shock.
She never expected Frederick would come home at that moment.
“My wife?”
He gasped.
She shook her head vigorously, trying to hide behind me.
The way Frederick was fuming in anger, she knew she had fallen into big trouble.
“You followed my wife to her room to slap her? Wow!”
He dropped the suitcase on the table and clapped his hands.
“A round of applause for you, Jessica. Before I open my eyes, I want you out of this room!”
“Out!”
He thundered.
She ran out of the room almost falling.
“Dove, why didn't you give me a call when she came into this room?”
Pfft.
No need for that.
Even if Fredrick didn't return, there is no way Jessy would have slapped me.
It is I who could have slapped her instead.
“You know what? I can't take this any longer.”
He walked out of the room.
What is he going to do?
Hope he won't send them away this time?
I have to interfere.
I went after him and met him with Harris in the living room.
“Jessy is leaving this house today!”
He thundered.
“Dad, don't do this, please.”
Harris was pleading with him this time because he saw how angry Fredrick was.
Oh no!
She can't leave,
I don't want her to leave now,
“Baby, please relax.”
I held his hand.
“No, she is leaving. Jessy has crossed the line this time around. How dare she go into my wife's room and fight with her?”
“If I hadn't returned, my wife would have ended up in the hospital again!”
Harris sighed deeply.
He shut his eyes and shook his head.
“If Jessy is leaving, then I will also leave, Dad.”
“Then it is settled, you and your wife should leave!”
Harris went inside their room angrily,
While Frederick and I returned to our room.
“Baby?”
I wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Do not plead for them, dove, allow them to leave. Harris can not survive without me out there, he will surely return to this house before the day runs out.
Oh, I didn't know.
Then I shouldn't stress myself.
“Okay. But if they don't return, you have to go bring Harris back. I don't want people to say we have sent our son packing.”
He smiled at me.
“Jessy is stressing you, right?”
Of course she is.
“Yes, but she is my daughter-in-law, so I can tolerate her.”
I giggled.
Fredrick sighed deeply.
“I don't want anyone to stress you, dove.”
He stroked my hair gently.
“I love you so much,”
He kissed me.
Oh, Blair, you are getting a lot of love from this man,
I pray his heart doesn't shatter when I decide to leave in the future.
