“Baby, my birthday is tomorrow.”

Fredrick lifted his head from his laptop,

“Really?”

“Yes, baby.”

Since he told me Harris had called him and said he was returning to the house, I have been thinking of what to do that would hurt them when they come home.

And then, it dawned on me that my birthday is tomorrow,

And if I can make Fredrick throw me a party in the house, both Jessy and Harris will be annoyed about it.

“Happy Birthday in advance, baby. What do you want for your birthday gift?”

He asked, closing the laptop lid.

Part of the things I like about Fredrick is the fact that he always stops whatever he is doing when I am talking to him, even if that thing is important to him.

Birthday gift isn't what I am after,

But if he gives me a gift, then I will be pleased.

“For the gift, I think you should think about that and surprise me. But I want you to throw me a party, it is my 23rd birthday so,”

He bobbed his head.

“Okay, I will. But if the gift I give you tomorrow makes you happy, what will I get in return?”

I know what he wants,

So, I winked at him seductively.

Fredrick understood the signal,

He chuckled softly,

Picked up his phone and went to the balcony.

I don't know who he was speaking with, or what he was saying, but I have a feeling it is about my birthday gift.

My mind isn't on that right now,

How can I make sure Harris and Jessy are in the house when he gives me the gift?

“Baby?”

I called when he returned to the room.

“Harris and Jessy will be at the party, right?”

He hesitated for a while, then spoke.

“Do you want them there?”

Of course.

“Yes, please. My son and daughter-in-law can't miss my birthday.”

“Then it is settled.”

Wow!

“How many people are you inviting?”

Uhmmm

I won't invite anyone,

I don't have friends, Jessy was the only friend I had.

And I can't invite my family, they will ruin everything for me.

“Just you, Harris, Jessy, and the servants.”

He chuckled.

“The servants?”

“Yes, baby, I want them to have fun too.”

The next day, Fredrick said he had something important to do at the company that morning, and he wouldn't be back until evening.

And since Harris and his wife would be back in the evening too, I have decided to start the party by then.

Also, Fredrick has sent over the decorator, and the makeup artist.

He even bought me a fancy limited-edition dress from the most popular fashion house in the city.

So what is left now is the cake, and the couple.

Hahahaha.

I can't believe I have turned this evil.

Well, it isn't my fault that I am doing this,

The people who pushed me into it are the ones I am dealing with.

The cake arrived towards the evening,

A three-tier red cake with white pearls decorated on them.

Fredrick is doing all this to make me happy and I love it.

“Ma’am, can you check out the decoration, please? I want to know if it is to your taste.”

Okay,

I left the room to go see what she had done and I love it so much.

It is just to my taste, so simple yet, astonishing.

“Great job.”

I returned to the room for my makeup.

An hour later,

I was done getting ready.

Seriously, I look prettier than I looked on my supposed wedding day.

Fredrick does know how to choose an outfit for every occasion.

The one he sent over on the day he was launching a new company was so pretty and this too,

I really love it.

“Ma’am, you look like you are getting married today.”

The makeup artist complimented.

Yeah, I surely do.

Maybe Fredrick wants that, that's why he chose this dress.

It is a white long fitted gown that brought out my curves,

And the edges are so wide like that of a wedding dress, but it was made with laces.

“Mr. Fredrick has arrived.”

A maid announced.

I left the room and walked down the stairs like a bride walking down the aisle.

I had always envisioned how I would walk down the aisle since I was a teenager, but that is never going to happen in my life.

Sighs.

Fredrick stands beneath the stairs in his grey tuxedo, grinning cheerily.

He got what he wanted.

And oh, my babies are here.

Jessy and Harris stood behind him, staring at me inastonishment.

I know what they are thinking,

Slow music was playing in the background,

And when I stepped down the stairs, Fredrick held me closer to himself.

“Happy birthday, my little dove.”

He planted a kiss on my forehead.

I love every moment with Fredrick,

“Thank you, baby.”

I could see the cloudy expression on Harris and Jessy's faces over Fredericks shoulder, and that gave me an idea.

They are looking at me and I need to make them feel jealous.

I wrapped my arms around Frederick's neck and kissed him on the lips.

“Time for your gift.”

He stepped back, knelt on one knee, and pulled out a diamond ring from his pocket.

OMG!

This is the kind of proposal I have always yearned for in my life.

Oh Fredrick!

“Blair, since the first day I set my eyes on you, your love has been increasing in my heart. You are the first woman whom I have fallen deeply in love with. I love you so much, my little dove.”

Emotional tears streamed down my face.

“Thank you for coming into my life, my little dove, you brought light and happiness into my life.”

He slipped the ring on my finger, stood on his feet, and kissed me passionately.

“I love you too, baby, I love you more than you would ever imagine.”

Tears couldn't cease from my eyes, and since I couldn't control it, I let it flow freely.

From where they stood, I could see Harris grasping his fingers into a fist and biting his lip angrily.
