I Married My Ex-fiance’s Father
Chapter 56.
Chapter 56
~JESSY~
Blair is back?
Does it mean the torture I went through in that prison has gone to waste?
No way!
I endured all that pain knowing that Blair won't make it out of there.
“I am sorry, Jessy, I didn't know you were telling the truth.”
Harris is out of his mind.
Does he think I wasn't behind that?
Of course I was.
And I swear, I won't rest until I see Blair lose that baby.
Wait,
I want her to lose her life too,
Then I can go ahead to marry Frederick.
He has the quality of the man I want.
And if I knew that Harris possessed nothing, I wouldn't have married him.
I wouldn't have even snatched him away from Blair.
Now, she isn't only lucky to have a husband, but she also has a lot of property in her name.
“Jessy?”
Harris called, tapping my shoulder.
I was so lost in thought that I didn't even remember he was in the room.
“What!”
I scowled.
“I said I am sorry,”
Mtsss
Who cares about his sorry?
Harris is just a maniac,
I wonder what he is going to do now that Blair has taken his place.
“Just leave me alone.”
I stepped away from him and sat on the bed.
No, I must do something as fast as I can.
If those fools confess in prison, my name would be mentioned, and I would be done for.
“What are you thinking about?”
“Can you just leave me alone? I am trying to think it over here.”
Oops,
“Think about what?”
I got up and stormed out of the room.
As soon as I stepped out of the room, I saw Blair, coming out of the room.
At that moment, I felt like killing her and then running away.
“Bitch, why didn't you die!”
I mumbled, glaring at her.
“What did you say?”
She asked, furrowing her brows curiously.
“I said you should have died, bitch!”
I repeated, raising my voice.
I am fed up with this nonsense already, and I can't keep it in any longer.
“Because of you, I was locked up in prison!”
She hissed.
“So fucking what? Wasn't it you who caused that? Why would you pay those people to kidnap me? I wonder why you were even released from prison.”
What da!
She knows I was behind it?
Well,
Who cares?
“Yes, I paid them to kill you. I don't even know why they didn't, those fools.”
She sighed deeply, shaking her head.
“You know what? I think it is time you leave this house.”
She must be out of her mind.
No one takes me out of this house unless I want to.
Even if those fools confess I paid them to kidnap Blair, I swear, I won't leave this house.
“Snap out of your dream, Blair, I ain't leaving this house.”
She scoffed, scanned me from head to toe, and walked away.
However, she paused on the stairs and veered around.
“Start counting from today, Jessy, you will soon leave this house. You won't be taken to prison from here, it is after Harris has divorced you, and you left that you will be arrested.”
Mtssss.
What nonsense!
“Harris?”
I barged into the room angrily.
“What is it?”
He asked without looking up at me.
“Can you believe what Blair just said now?”
When I mentioned her name, he lifted his head.
“What?”
“She said my days in this house are numbered.”
He chuckled.
“And what did you say to her?”
Wait, did I just see him smile?
“That is impossible.”
He stood up and shrugged his shoulders.
“You know what?”
He asked.
“I think Blair is correct.”
What on earth is that?
“Jessy, when we returned a few days ago, I told you to calm down and not to do anything stupid. Didn't I say I would take care of everything?”
“Does this mean you want to divorce me?”
“Of course I will, if you don't stop what you are doing. Look, if Dad finds out you were behind Blair’s kidnap, seriously, you won't like what will happen next.”
Arrggghh
Harris is so stupid.
And if he thinks that I will do what he wants, then he must be out of his mind.
Geez!
This is so stupid.
I need to think of another thing as soon as I can.
Blair mustn't live to witness the day that Harris and I divorce.
Hmmm.
What should I do now?
Oh, I think I know.
Quickly, I left the room and went to the maid’s quarters.
“Where is Blair’s chef?”
As soon as she came out, I grabbed her hand and dragged her away.
“I want you to do something for me,”
“What is that, ma’am?”
“This.”
I opened my palm and showed her a transparent nylon filled with white powder.
“What is this, ma’am?”
She asked, picking it from my palm.
“Put this in her tea, or coffee, and she will die.”
“What!”
She covered her mouth, eyes widening in shock.
“You want me to kill her?”
Pfft.
“Yes. And if you don't do as I say, I will be the one to kill you.”
She gasped.
“Please, Ma’am Jessy, I can't do it. Mr. Fredrick will kill me when he finds out.”
I pinned her to the wall,
“If you don't do as I say today, you will die!”
After threatening her, I left.
And throughout the night, I couldn't sleep.
I waited to hear any sound from their room, or her scream from anywhere in the house, but I heard nothing.
And the next morning, it was the same thing.
And it made me wonder if the maid did what I asked her, or if she didn't.
Seriously, she has just gotten herself in trouble with me if she doesn't carry out my order.
“Jessy, you didn't sleep yesterday, and you look like you are up to something.”
He held my hand.
“Whatever you are up to, you'd better stop it now if it is related to Blair.”
I flung my hand from him and hissed.
“I am not like you, fool!”
I spat at him and walked away.
