The Billionaire’s Obsession
Chapter 11
Chapter 13
No, she wouldn’t allow Sebastian to bring back someone like Vivienne back in to the house. The girl that was so disrespectful to her? No way.
She remembered the day Vivienne was leaving the house. She talked back at her which was unlike her. She had never talked back or yell at her before but she did it that day.
( Getting back what she lost)
“Hi, Mr. Marcus, this is Vivienne Montague.”
A loud scream came from the other end. Vivienne already knew that would happen. She didn’t even know Mr. Marcus was going to answer her call.
Seeing how long it has been that they last communicated and how he tried to talk her out of marrying Sebastian which resulted in their separation.
Mr. Marcus was Vivienne’s manager when she was still an actress. She didn’t let him know she and Sebastian were getting married and when he found out, he tried to talk her out of it.
But because she was head over hills for him, she decided not to listen to him. And when she brought up the topic of quitting from the industry, he was so upset with her because she wouldn’t listen to him.
Because he never heard from her again, he thought Vivienne wasn’t alive. Sebastian never showed her to the world after the marriage and it was as if the marriage was the end of her.
“Vivienne!” he screamed her name.
Vivienne had to removed the phone from her ear and waited until he was done screaming.
“Where have you been, Vivienne?” he asked at last.
Vivienne sighed deeply. Of course she was with her so called husband. The one that enslaved her and cease her of her right.
“Don’t tell me you have been with that rude jerk all these time?”
As if he was there with her when she nodded her head, Mr. Marcus angered up.
“See? I told you that fool isn’t up to anything good but you never listened to me.” He paused.
“Tell me where you are and I’ll come right away,” he said.
He thought it was better he sees Vivienne after months of leaving the public.
Vivienne gave him the address but told him to come alone as she was hiding away from Sebastian and anyone that knew her.
“You are here.” She put on a wide smile after opening the door for Mr. Marcus.
Mr. Marcus was shocked. He couldn’t believe it was Vivienne whom he was seeing? No, the person standing in front of him wasn’t Vivienne but someone else.
He scanned her from head to toe but the only thing in her body that would make you believe it was Vivienne was her sparkling grey eyes.
“What did that guy did to you, Vivienne? Just take a look at yourself. Have you ever see yourself in the mirror? You look…” He clenched his fist.
“Horrible, I know,” Vivienne sighed inside but kept on a smiley face.
“Please come in, others might see my face. It’s not covered,” she giggled.
Mr. Marcus stepped in and she locked the door.
“What happened to you, Vivienne? Tell me all that that guy did to you and we are going to sue him.” He suggested.
But Vivienne wouldn’t do that. It would only stain her name in public.
And that wasn’t the reason why she decided to call him. She has something important to discuss with him about.
“Mr. Marcus?” she called after he was done cursing Sebastian.
“I can hear you,” he said, still mumbling cursed words under his breath.
“I don’t know how to start.” Vivienne lowered her eyes and started playing with her fingers.
“I’m sorry for what transpired between us back then. I swear, I would have listened to you if I knew my life was going to turn out this way.”
Mr. Marcus scoffed. It was just because of love if not, Vivienne had seen Sebastian insulting people once in her presence.
That was the first red flag Marcus saw that he knew Sebastian wasn’t a good person.
No one in their rightful state of mind would disgrace a kid in public talk more of an elderly person.
“I’m sorry, Marcus. Please do not take that to heart.” Vivienne clasped her palms together, pleading with him.
Marcus sneered. If he was angry with her, he wouldn’t have even came when she gave him the address.
He would have yelled at her when she called and warn her never to call him again.
“It’s fine, Vivienne. It was a mistake and everyone is prone to that. I forgive you.” he patted her back.
Vivienne felt relieved. She thought it was going to be hard before he forgive her because she already knew the kind of a person Marcus was.
“The reason why I called you earlier…” She cleared her throat.
“I… I don’t know if… if it’s going to be possible… I just… Can you,” she sighed.
She didn’t even know how she was going to say that out. Would he accept her request or he would turn her down?
“Speak, I’m listening to you,” he said but Vivienne couldn’t say anything.
“Vivienne?” Marcus went closer to her and held her hands. “Talk to me. Is it about Sebastian? If it is, tell me and I’m going to teach him some lessons.”
“You know how much I hate that guy,” Vivienne nodded her head. She already knew that and there was no need reminding her.
But what she was requesting from him wasn’t anything that had to do with Sebastian. No, she wasn’t even thinking about him.
She wanted to get what she lost back. What she was proud of and what she was known for.
“I want to get back to acting.” She finally let out.
Marcus was speechless. He didn’t know how he was going to react to that.
Acting? He was surprised Vivienne brought that up. Shouldn’t she focused on getting herself together first?
“You are silent.” She tapped him hand, looking straight at his face.
“Vivienne…” he exhaled deeply. “I don’t know what to say but you know you’ve been absent from the industry for a very long time now,” she nodded her head.
“And I’m sure you’ve already seen the new rising star in the industry.”
This, she nodded her head too. Sabrina Vanguard, the bitch. She cursed under her breath.
“She’s the one everyone is proud of now in the industry.” He went on.
“No one talks about you again, they are all talking about Sabrina,” Vivienne sighed.
“Ever since she stepped in to the industry, a lot of things has changed. The profit too increased and…” She waved her hand, interrupting him.
“Enough of Sabrina, I don’t even want to hear the name of that bitch,” she scoffed.
“You sound like you know her, Vivienne.” Marcus looked in to her face.
“Of course I do, that’s why I don’t like her,” she hissed.
He wondered where Vivienne who no one has seen saw Sabrina that she was mad at her that way.
“You said she is bringing a lot of profit in to the industry?” Marcus nodded his head, still waiting for her to say where she met Sabrina.
“She’s doing all that by sleeping around with rich men. How else do you think she’s getting those sponsors?” she scoffed.
“Stop looking at me that way, Marcus. It’s irritating!” she yelled at him.
“Sorry.” He scratched his neck.
“You want to know where I met her?” Marcus’s eyes brightened up.
“I caught that bitch sleeping with my husband right in my presence. She wasn’t even moved, neither Sebastian.”
“And guess what? That bitch laughed on my face and has the audacity to wear the necklace that fool told me to buy.”
Marcus’s jaw dropped. He didn’t knew that was how Sabrina was getting all the sponsors. They all thought it was because she was so talented and young too.
“Wow!” he exclaimed.
“See the miserable life I’ve been living?” She sniffled.
“But not anymore.” She wiped the drop of tears on her face.
“This is why I need your help, Marcus. I really need to get back in to acting. It’s the only thing I want now. I’m already fed up with that marriage and now out of it,” she cried to him.
Marcus was speechless once again. He didn’t know how he was going to get her back in to the industry when no one talked about her again.
But seeing her in tears broke his heart. He really needed to help her but how?
“Vivienne, I’ll speak to the directors and see what they have to say.” she lifted up her head.
“I promise to get you back in to that industry.” He rubbed her back.
“Are you sure you can do that?” she asked him but he too wasn’t sure. He just said that to her to make her mind be at ease.
“I’ll try my best. But don’t hate me when the result comes out negative,” she sighed.
“Then I’ll get going.” He stood up from the sofa.
“Thanks for coming, Marcus. But please, do not let anyone know I stay here.” She pleaded and he smiled at her.
“Trust me like you’ve always done in the past,” she nodded her head.
“Alright then bye, we’ll talk after the meeting.” He waved at her as he drove away from that location.
“Oh God, help your humble servant.” She prayed.
After seeing the nonsense her sister was doing with Sebastian, Vivienne knew her marriage with that jerk was over.
Even though he didn’t sign the divorce paper, she already seen herself as someone without a husband.
( Mr. Hawthorn, I found her)
In his office slouched on the swivel chair, Sterling’s back was turned on the door with his eye closed.
That was the last day he gave Assistant Mike to find his mysterious woman or else, he was going to lose his job on that day.
But Assistant Mike wasn’t showing up. Which made him thought if he decided to resign since he couldn’t find her.
And if that turned out to be truth, Sterling promised he was going to find Assistant Mike wherever he would go and then punish him then fire him.
It had been days already since Assistant Mike started searching for the information about the lady but still, nothing has came out from it.
Between those days, Sterling wondered if the lady was real or not. But if she wasn’t real, then he wouldn’t have saved her for two consecutive times.
And he wouldn’t have met her for three times.
Maybe because she didn’t fall in to any trouble again that was why he didn’t see her. Or maybe her husband was lucky to get rid of her when he was Mourning his Mum’s death.
No, never! He shook his head. He would find that fool and get rid of him too for taking the woman of his heart.
“Mr. Hawthorn?” Assistant Mike was panting. He lowered himself and dropped his hands on his knees.
All Sterling could hear was him trying to caught his breath after calling his name.
He frowned his face, swirled the chair until he was facing Assistant Mike.
“I found her!” He waved a paper on the air, laughing excitedly.
Sterling’s face brightened up and so was his heart. It was as if it was Vivienne who he was seeing in front of him.
He composed himself and gestured to Assistant Mike to move forward.
“Where is she?” Sterling asked, so eager to know everything about her.
Assistant stood upright, patted his chest and inhaled deeply before he dropped the paper on the desk in front of Sterling.
“Mr. Hawthorn, just as I promised you, I found out everything about the mysterious woman you can’t stop thinking about.”
Sterling picked up the paper, ignoring what he was saying.
But he couldn’t even understand anything on that paper.
Everything there looked like they were drawn because all he could see was lines with numbers.
