“First, I’ll like to apologize to her fans about the news and to assure them that Vivienne Montague wasn’t fired from the company…”

“We don’t know who caused the scandal and we promise to fish out whoever did it. Vivienne Montague still remains in this company and she isn’t going anywhere.”

Sterling finished his speech with a bow before stepping down from the stage.

Sterling heaved a sigh of relief when he returned back to the office.

The voices from the Premises has stopped and all her fans were gone happily.

Sterling too was happy that he got to take care of that. And the only thing he was worried about was for Vivienne not to see the news.

“Mr. Hawthorn, you did a great job.” Assistant Mike gave him a thumbs up.

“The first scandal from this company,” Marcus laughed.

“Mr. Hawthorn, you should be prepared to take care of the next scandals to take care of because this is what the entertainment industry is all about,” Marcus said.

“We hope this will be the last because this isn’t a good thing. I had to leave the house by 6 instead of 7 as usual.” Assistant Mike sighed.

Vivienne woke up around 8am that day with a headache from crying through out the night.

She didn’t know what was going on because she turned off her phone the previous day to avoid answering any calls from Sterling.

She thought he might be angry with her for messing up the movie and for wasting their times there.

When she came down the stairs, Lia and the rest where in the living room watching the TV.

They quickly turned it off when they heard her footsteps coming down the stairs.

Luckily for them, Vivienne didn’t see what they were watching. It was the news broadcast of Sterling apologizing to the fans.

“Good morning Ms. Vivienne.” They all greeted, smiling at her at the same time.

Vivienne was surprised to see them together and also smiling at her.

She wondered what they were up to until she remembered the previous day that she returned looking so sad.

Maybe Assistant Li told them all that had happened and they took pity on her.

“We prepared your favorite breakfast, ma’am. And it’s on the table.” Lia pointed at the dining table.

Vivienne glanced at the table. She thanked them and went inside the kitchen to get some coffee.

“Remember, no one should let her know anything about this.” Assistant Li warned them again.

“Trust us, Li. We won’t breath this to her. I’m sure by now, it has been taken down from the news,” Lia said.

“I hope so,” he sighed.

Vivienne cake out from the bathroom few minutes later with a mug of coffee.

“I think I’ll have that later,” she said to Kia as she went back to her room.

After she was sat down on the bed, she decided to turn on her phone.

And as soon as she did, Sebastian’s call came in.

Vivienne frowned wondering why he was calling her by that time of the day.

She ignored the call but he kept calling her over and over again.

“What do you want?” She finally answered the call.

“Oh Vivienne, when you didn’t answer the call, I thought you’ve taken your life already.” he laughed.

Vivienne furrowed her brows. What does he mean by he thought she has taken her life? Why would she take her own life just like that? Even if the whole world would turn against her, she won’t do something as awful as that.

“I am not ready for your stupid jokes right now, Sebastian. As you know, I’m a busy person,” she hissed.

“Not so fast, girl. Everyone knows you won’t be busy again from today onward. I know this was going to happen when that dude signed you in to his company.” he laughed again.

“Tell me… Did he demanded your body and you refused? Because that is the only thing that would make him fire you.” He mocked.

“Excuse me? Fire who? Who’s that?” she asked him, putting down the mug in the side bed.

“You of course, it’s all over the news that you have been fired from your new company. Well, you deserve that Vivienne. You remember when I told you, you are a loser? You’ll never achieve anything in your life.”

“Keep your dirty mouth shut, Sebastian!” she snapped at him…

“No one got fired and Sterling isn’t a Goat as you are. You should see the way he treats me in that company. You saw the wrong news, maybe you should go back and check again.” She hung up on him.

Vivienne logged in to the internet to see what he meant by she was fired.

And there, her heart skipped a beat when she saw her picture in the hall.

She sighed deeply, shaking her head continuously.

Who knows that her own turn of being rumored in the news would come too?

She has seen that of some other actress and actors but didn’t know that hers would showcase one day.

But that wasn’t the problem since she knew she wasn’t fired from that company.

The problem was what Sterling would think of her. Wouldn’t he think of firing her since she had started bringing scandal in to his company?

How was she going to face the people? Sebastian would be happy that his dream finally came through.

“Oh lord, do not let this happen. Give me another change and I promise to try all I could to act that movie well.”

she scrolled down through the news feed and she saw the picture of her fans that gathered in Sterling’s company.

“Ahh, I didn’t know it has gone this far,” Vivienne chuckled. They indeed like her a lot.

No, they love her. Only people that loves you would do anything to keep your reputation and defend you everywhere.

“They’ll be happy if they know it isn’t true,” she giggled.

Vivienne continued scrolling down, down and down. All the news in the feed were all of her.

“What is Mr. Hawthorn saying about this?” She scrolled up and mistaken refreshed the page.

However, she saw a video of Sterling which was posted few minutes ago.

Her eyes brightened up when she saw the headlines. She clicked on the video and it played.

“First of all, I’ll like to apologize to you all…”

Vivienne heaved a sigh of relief after watching the complete video.

She was so happy that Sterling man up and stepped up for her.

Not only Sebastian, but her enemies too would be ashamed of themselves.

She left the internet and clicked on the call logs. She dialed Sebastian’s number which was on the top.

“Didn’t I told you to check again? Someone that cares about me already took care of it. Get a life, Sebastian!” she laughed at him and hung up without allowing him say a word.

Vivienne drank the remaining coffee in the mug before leaving the bed.

She has to go to the company to apologize to Sterling for stressing him in addressing the people.

But before she could leave the room, her phone rang. She thought it was Sebastian so, she left without checking who was calling.

When she came down the stairs all dressed up, Lia and the rest were surprised.

They heard when she was watching the video of Sterling in her room and they thought she was going to burst in to cry.

But they were wrong because Vivienne didn’t care about that.

“You guys wanted to hide that from me, right?” she chuckled.

“We are sorry Ms. Vivienne, we didn’t want you to get worried over that.” Assistant Li said worriedly.

“Hey come on guys, that’s not a problem. Don’t forget I chose to be an actress and things like this are normal in the industry,” she shrugged her shoulders.

“Even with that, it isn’t all the celebrities that have a strong heart.” Lia was worried too.

Vivienne giggled. Lia was right, not all of them has strong heart to take things like that.

Even she wouldn’t have taken it if not for Sterling that stepped up for her.

Others have to address and apologize to people by themselves while others end their lives because they didn’t know how to tackle the issue.

“That aside. Assistant Li, let’s go to the company.”

Assistant Li took her bag from her and they left the house.

When they arrived at the company, Sterling wasn’t in his office. So, Assistant Li took her to her own office which was given to her by Sterling.

The office was on the same floor with Sterling’s but by the right while Sterling’s by the left.

She sat down on the swivel chair and sighed of relief.

“It feels so good to have my own company,” she giggled.

“You can say that again, Ms. Vivienne. You’ll feel like a boss when you have your own office. I wish I can have my own office some day,” he sighed.

Vivienne giggled. She had also prayed for that years ago and her dream has finally come true.

“Don’t worry, yours will come true too. Can you get me Marcus please? I need to talk to him.” Vivienne requested.

Assistant Li bowed his head and left the office while she relaxed back.

On his way going to the Majesty’s to call Marcus for Vivienne, Assistant Li met Sterling on the way.

“Mr. Hawthorn.” he greeted.

“We went to your office but you weren’t there.” he said.

“You mean with Vivienne?” Li nodded his head.

“She’s in her office, Mr. Hawthorn. And Mr….”

Sterling walked away from Li, walking as fast as he could to go see Vivienne.

Assistant Li shrugged his shoulders and walked away too because Sterling didn’t even wait to listen to what he would say further.

Sterling looked forward to seeing Vivienne. He didn’t know she would come to the company that day.

He thought because of the scandal, she was going to stop coming to the company.

But he was wrong, Vivienne wasn’t the kind of a person he thought she was.

Sterling turned the door handle but he was surprised to see Fowler with her.

He was standing in front of her at her swivel chair and they were talking as if they were lovers.

Jealousy started welling to his heart on seeing them that way.

None of them even noticed he was there as they were so busy talking about what had happened earlier on.

Sterling stood there for some time thinking they would notice his presence but he was only wasting his time there.

He left after standing there for about ten minutes. Sterling didn’t like it that Fowler was blocking his way.

And what was he doing in the company that day? He wasn’t supposed to go there.

Didn’t he said he has ten scenes to do for his other movie that week? What was he doing there? He wasn’t even in that same city, he supposed to be in the next city.

What Sterling didn’t know was, Fowler left the city when he saw the news about Vivienne.

His mind wasn’t at rest as he knew what celebrities do when false news about them showcased.

Vivienne has become a part of him and leaving her alone in that situation wouldn’t help the matter at all.

“Come on Mr. Fowler, you didn’t have to come,” Vivienne chuckled.

Fowler sighed and shook his head.

“You have no idea how scared I was, Ms. Vivienne. I thought you were going to end your life too.” he patted his chest.

“Not with me. I’ll never think of anything like that.” she raised her brows.

“That’s such a relief. Please do not think of anything like that. Life will still move on if you take your own love. And you can call me Fowler,” he smiled at her.
