The Billionaire’s Obsession
Chapter 46
Chapter 48
Sterling was beginning to understand where Marcus was going.
But making her character become a tough one just because of what she went through, wouldn’t it have a great impact on her?
“What do you suggest we change her character to?” he asked him before he would conclude on it.
“I want it to her changed to that of a villain. You know, someone that doesn’t follow anyone’s order but her own.”
Sterling was confused. That wasn’t a good thing. Vivienne a villain? No, that’s impossible.
“I think I’ll have to have to think about this. But can you start preparing the story? So we’ll know if it’s suitable for Vivienne or not.”
Marcus was so happy because he thought his idea was accepted by Sterling already.
“I’ll do that, Mr. Hawthorn. Give me two days and it will be ready.” Marcus bowed his head then hurried out of the office.
Vivienne a villain? Sterling chuckled. That would be a sight to behold. But that character doesn’t go well with him.
For him, Vivienne’s character should be of the sweet girl she is.
“Well, having it being changed wouldn’t cause anything. Let’s see how they’ll go about this.”
He called back Assistant Mike in to his office.
“Go to the Majesty’s department and inform the scriptwriters to start working on another storyline that’s going to be easy for Vivienne.” he instructed.
Assistant Mike was surprised by the sudden change. But deep in his mind, he knew it was Marcus that suggested that.
He left to the department at the right time the scriptwriters were about to leave.
“Mr. Hawthorn sent me to you.” They exchanged glances.
“Mr. Marcus was in his office earlier on and…” he was interrupted by Mr. Kenneth.
“Tell me Mr. Hawthorn didn’t agree with his idea. That’s so lame.”
“And I think our stay in this company has come to an end.” Mr. Cole added.
“Don’t conclude yet. He want you guys to start working on a new story and have Ms. Vivienne’s character changed.”
Their eyes brightened up. That was such a surprise for them.
Whatever Marcus could have said to him, they were glad he went there.
After Mike left, Marcus followed them to their office because he saw Mike talking to them by the door.
“Mr. Hawthorn wants you two to write your idea, right?” they nodded their heads.
“Then good luck to you, let’s see who wins this movie,” Marcus smiled mischievously before leaving.
They ignored him as they already knew that was jealousy speaking.
( I am still your husband)
“Ms. Vivienne, you have a guest waiting for you in the living room.” Lia announced.
Vivienne was surprised. A guest waiting for her? She doesn’t remember anyone telling her he would visit.
Could it be Sterling or Fowler? Fowler already knew where she lives and she promised him they’ll hang out one day.
Maybe that’s what brought him. To take her out for dinner as it was already dark.
But why would Fowler decided to come without informing her? After all, he has her number?
“I’ll be right there.” Lia bowed her head and left.
Vivienne dropped the script she was going through and left the room.
Right from the stairs, she saw Sebastian sitting on the sofa comfortably which shocked him.
How did Sebastian found out where she live? Who showed it to him? Who told him he could visit her?
Oh no, Vivienne didn’t like that. She was afraid Sterling or Fowler might show up and see Sebastian in her place.
“Oh great, my gorgeous angel is here,” Sebastian smiled, looking at her as she came down the stairs.
She signaled to Lia who was standing there to leave and she left.
“What brought you here, Sebastian? Hope you know you aren’t allow to come near me,” she asked him, lowering her voice so no one would hear what she was saying with him.
Sebastian chuckled. He released his leg which was resting on the other one on the floor.
“Shouldn’t I visit you again, Vivienne? Or is it because you now live in a big house like this that you don’t want to see me again?”
Vivienne was surprised with the way Sebastian was speaking. Who knows about her marriage life would think Sebastian was nice to her when she was still living with him.
“Remember I’m still your husband and have the right to go anywhere you are.”
Now she knows where the problem lies. Because she was still his wife in name, he thought she was a fool to welcome home.
“The earlier you sign the divorce paper, the better. Because I’m no longer interested in someone like you, Sebastian. Leave me alone please.” she clasped her hands together.
Sebastian scoffed. Why would he leave her alone? No way. Unless he achieved his aim towards her.
As Vivienne was fed up listening to him talking about one thing, she turned to leave but Sebastian grabbed her wrist.
He wouldn’t let her walk away from his presence. If not that she was staying with lot of people and her bodyguards were outside, he would have gave her a slap for trying to walk away from him.
“Let me go.” She struggled to release her hand from him but he held un to her tightly.
Sebastian drew her closer to himself and pinned her on his body, holding her waist.
“Don’t you ever try this nonsense with me again, Vivienne. You know how much I hate you and how much I hate to see you succeed. Quit now before it’s too late for you.” he warned.
Vivienne’s heart was beating fast. She didn’t like that he was holding her closer to himself.
What if someone walked in to the living room and find them like that? Wouldn’t they gossip about her that she was bringing in men to the house already?
What if Fowler decided to show up? What if Sterling show up too? What was she going to say to them? That Sebastian is her husband?
“Leave, Sebastian. Just leave. I don’t want any trouble right now.” she tried to step away from him but he wouldn’t let her go.
“Just do as I said, Vivienne. Or else, you will be forced to take your own life,” he threatened.
He released her, making her fell on the sofa.
“That scandal was just a warning to you, girl. If you don’t stay away from that industry, then I’ll cause many scandals for you.” he snapped his fingers on her face.
Vivienne watched him walked out from the living room.
She became so scared when he threatened her and told her he was behind that scandal.
She wasn’t afraid of his threats before. But Toying with her career? She didn’t know what next Sebastian would do to her.
How could he even think of doing something evil to her of all people? She loved him with all of her heart.
She cared for him and respected him more than she did to her self.
Was that how love is or just Sebastian?
Vivienne wiped the tears on her face and sat properly. If only she knew he was a monster, she wouldn’t have agreed to his proposal back then.
She would have turned it down and chose her career instead.
“Ms. Vivienne, are you alright?” Assistant Li asked.
Vivienne forced a smile and nodded her head. She was happy Li didn’t see Sebastian. He would have been the one to tell Sterling that Sebastian came to the house and threatened her.
“I’m good, just came down to see a visitor.” she said.
“Was it Mr. Hawthorn? Oh shit, I wanted to see him too,” Li sighed worriedly.
“No, it was someone else. I’ll go now.” she stood up from the sofa and left his presence.
A visitor who wasn’t Sterling by that time of the day? It was already night and only Sterling would come to that house by that time.
He shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Maybe she was already keeping men and bringing them in to the house secretly.
Vivienne closed the door and leaned on it, she let out a deep sigh that Li didn’t see Sebastian in the house.
But how he entered the house and even the living room surprised her.
Who told him where she lives and who let him in? There were bodyguards outside the apartment. How did they let him in? What did he told them?
Vivienne sighed deeply. She went to the bed and picked her phone.
The only way to stop Sebastian from coming to her place again was to involve the guards.
“You see that guy you allowed in to the house minutes ago? Do not let him in again. He’s a threat to me.” Vivienne instructed one of the guards.
“So sorry Ms. Vivienne, he told us he is your brother that was why we let him in. Should we go after him and arrest him? He shouldn’t be far from here,”
Vivienne scoffed. A monster as her brother? No way.
“Forget about him. But when next he come again, I want you to have him arrested.” she gave the order.
( This is lame, Mr. Marcus)
Marcus and the scriptwriters hurried down the hallway to the hall where to wait for Sterling’s arrival.
They’ve already compiled the new story they wrote including Marcus who has taken it from the people he employed to do it.
He was confident that his was the one Sterling would choose because of the uniqueness of the story.
“Mr. Kenneth and Cole, why don’t you guys leave now to avoid embarrassment from Mr. Hawthorn?” Marcus said as if he was sure that his would be the one to be chosen.
“Why should be leave, Mr. Marcus? Don’t forget we were hired by Mr. Hawthorn himself. And we have no idea what embarrassment you are talking about,” Cole said.
Marcus chuckled. He sat down on a chair and crossed his legs.
Whatever it is he was talking about, they would soon know.
Few minutes later, Sterling arrived at the hall and they all stood on their feet bowing their heads to him.
“Mr. Marcus, let’s start with your.” Assistant Mike who was standing beside Sterling said.
Marcus cleared his throat before standing up from the chair.
He handed everyone a copy each of his own story and stood in front of them to present it.
“First, I’ll like to thank Mr. Hawthorn for giving me this great opportunity to write this wonderful movie. This is the story I’ve written for Ms. Vivienne which I know is going to sell out and everyone will like it,”
Sterling nodded his head. Not because he said it will sell out, but because he thanked him for giving him an opportunity to bring his own idea.
“Seeing how Ms. Vivienne has been messing up her sweet innocent character, I brought up something that is going to make her get back her acting spirit.”
Assistant Mike was already bored with his boring speech. Shouldn’t he just go straight to the point?
“Mr. Marcus, please start the presentation already,” Mike said.
That didn’t go well with Marcy but because Sterling was present, he gave Assistant Mike a side eye.
“So this is what I’ve came up with. Go through the document as I explain it.” He opens it and they opened theirs too.
“Vivienne’s character in this movie isn’t that of a simple girl who’s going through hardship. But that of a villain who…” he was interrupted.
“Mr. Marcus?” Mr. Kenneth called his attention.
“Yes that’s my name. Is there any problem?” Marcus asked him looking upset for interrupting his presentation.
“In the first page which is the first scene of the movie, Vivienne emerged from a storage room with a knife stained with blood which means she killed someone in there,” he said looking so confused.
“And in the last page, she got arrested by the cops after being wanted for more than a year. Why?” Mr. Cole added.
