Chapter 47

“Yes, you didn’t miss a thing out of it. In the first page, she murdered her husband who…”

“Wait what! How could a female lead Murder her husband? Why? That has never happened before. This is against the rule of writing unless you are writing a horror movie.”

Marcus became so upset for being interrupted over and over again. Why won’t thy just listen to his explanation first before concluding?

“And she got arrested too. That’s impossible. Please don’t start what you can’t finish. The audience will never watch this movie of Vivienne as a villain. They’ll be so disappointed and they won’t want to watch any movie produced by this company anymore.” Mr. Kenneth explained.

Assistant Mike sighed inside. He too knew that was not a good idea.

“Sorry to interrupt, I am not an expert in this either but I think this isn’t suitable for Ms. Vivienne. Mr. Kenneth and Mr. Cole are right. Female lead can never be a villain unless it’s a horror movie.”

“Even in horror movies, it’s either they return from death to haunt their murderers or someone that would get rid of the villains,” Mike explained.

“If I may ask, does Assistant Mike know anything about writing a movie?” Marcus asked, dropping the document in his hand on the desk.

“No, Mr. Marcus. But I am a fan of horror movies. And I think I can write a horror movie more than you. You aren’t even a Scriptwriter yourself. You hired people to write your idea for you as well,” Mike sneered.

“And is that a problem? As far as I know, this is one hundred percent my idea,”

Sterling sighed inside. He didn’t even know what he was going to say to them.

None of them cared he was sitting there and all they were doing was arguing with each other.

For him, Vivienne as a villain wasn’t a good thing either.

How could a simple and loving character turns in to a villain in another movie. And to say she would still be the female lead.

No way, even he won’t watch the movie. And Vivienne won’t even like it.

“Mr. Hawthorn, please say something about this.” Mr. Cole requested.

“Let’s hear yours first before I decide.” Sterling suggested.

Mr. Cole then distributed their own documents to everyone then Mr. Kenneth did the presentation.

“That’s how the movie would go.” He rounded it up.

Marcus started laughing at him after he was done with his presentation.

“Yours is even the worse I’ve ever heard. How can someone kill the female lead and then she return back to life?” he laughed.

“That’s call a reborn Genre, Mr. Marcus. And you were here when he was explaining it. Vivienne was poisoned by her step sister and Fiancée but then, she was given a second chance and she returned to take revenge…”

“It isn’t written here that she killed someone at the end. The end is a happy ending with Vivienne getting married to Mr. Fowler who comes in to her life.” Mr. Kenneth explained.

“For me, that isn’t a good one.” He turned to Sterling.

“Mr. Hawthorn, with due respect, I suggest you take mine in to consideration. Seeing how much time and the good idea I came up with, I’m sure people will love it and even you will be proud of me.”

Proud of him indeed. Sterling scoffed inside. That was the lamest idea he has ever seen in his entire life.

And if he was going to choose, then it would be Kenneth and Cole’s story idea.

Because who would want to watch a horror movie of Vivienne? Not him.

“All your ideas are good…” Sterling started.

“And I’m having trouble deciding which one of them to choose. Why don’t we summon Ms. Vivienne here and have her go through the stories herself? She should be the one to choose what she want.” Sterling suggested.

“But Mr. Hawthorn, you are the owner of the company and you should be the one to decide on it. Ms. Vivienne just have to follow whatever you want.” Mr. Kenneth said.

“Forget about him, Mr. Hawthorn. Let’s have Ms. Vivienne choose what she want to act.” Marcus chipped in.

He glanced at Kenneth and Cole and gave them a mischievous grin.

They knew what Marcus was going to do. He would force Vivienne to choose his story idea because he was once her manager.

“Assistant Mike, you are in charge of handling this. Bring Ms. Vivienne to the company tomorrow.”

With that said, Sterling left the meeting hall still wondering how Vivienne could act that horror movie.

( She’s going to choose mine)

Marcus liked the idea so very much because in his mind, Vivienne was going to choose his.

Why wouldn’t she when he was the main reason why Mr. Hawthorn decided to introduce that department?

He would have thought of visiting her to make her choose his but there was no need.

When she check the document the next day, she would see his name written on one and nothing would stop her from pointing at his.

Marcus kept making jest of the other scriptwriters story. He told them it was never going to work as Vivienne won’t even look their way.

They ignored him as they too knew that Vivienne wouldn’t choose to act a horror movie.

“But don’t you think she’s going to choose his since he was her manager in pure heart entertainment?”

Mr. Cole asked Kenneth because that got him worried.

In his mind, Vivienne was going to choose Marcus story even if she doesn’t like it.

If she doesn’t choose his, then he wouldn’t be happy with her and that’ll cause misunderstanding between them.

“Forget about that, Cole. That lady won’t act what she doesn’t like. Let’s just hope he doesn’t brainwash her in to choosing his,”

Cole nodded his head. That was just the best thing. Because even if Vivienne chose Marcus, she was going to mess things up again.

After they’d closed from work that day, Assistant Mike visited Vivienne’s place to inform her of what Mr. Hawthorn said.

When Vivienne saw him, her heart skipped a beat.

She thought Sterling has sent Assistant Mike to give her a sack later as he doesn’t want her back in his company again.

“Mr. Hawthorn wants you to come over to the company tomorrow.” Assistant Mike informed her.

Go to the company to do what? To hand over the letter to her by himself?

Maybe that was what he wanted to do to her because the one week break he gave her was still two days to elapse.

She tried to enquire from Assistant Mike why Sterling wanted to see her but he didn’t tell her anything.

For him, it was better not to tell her so she wouldn’t try to call Marcus and make him force her in to choosing his lame idea.

“I’ll be on my way now, Ms. Vivienne. Do not forget, it’s 8am tomorrow,”

Vivienne nodded her head as he bowed to him and left.

After he was gone, she returned back to her room thinking of what that was all about.

Whatever it was, she hoped it wasn’t what she was thinking.

“How I wish they’ll change that role for me,” she sighed deeply.

She was one hundred percent sure that she would make them proud with her acting if the role was to be changed for her.

She thought if that was the best time to make Sterling change the role for her to save herself from embarrassment.

They said it was because she was stressed and other believed that too.

What if she returned back and the story given to her again to act? She knew she was going to messed up again and that would make everyone believe she wasn’t the Vivienne they knew before.

Vivienne wanted to call Sterling over the phone to tell him about changing her role but couldn’t get through to him.

He kept on rejecting her call and at the end, turned off his phone.

That scared her a lot. What if her intuition was right that he wanted to fire her?

What was she going to do? How would she look at all the people that looked forward to seeing her movies in that company?

Sebastian and pure heart entertainment would surely laugh on her face.

Worse, there was no way she would start from because pure heart entertainment already cut off her name from sharing the royalty share with her.

Since they discovered she was with Sterling’s company, they cut everything with her.

It was her right to demand her profit share from them but she decided to let them be as she didn’t want to tarnish her own reputation.

Those people might have done that on purpose so she would try to sue them and then, they ruin her name.

What Sterling gave to her within a month was more than what she had earned from Pure Heart Entertainment in a year.

So why would she worry herself when she was already loaded with cash?

Vivienne scoffed. Thinking of that company always made her remembered Sebastian and his evil Tactics towards her.

When she heard people saying your lover might turn out to be your worst enemy, she didn’t believe that.

But after what Sebastian did to her, there was nothing anyone would tell her again that she wouldn’t believe.

She wished there was a way she would make the idiot sign the divorce papers soon so she would be free from him.

Vivienne sighed deeply. Wasn’t that a good opportunity for her to make him sign the papers since he was already coming back to her?

Her face brightened up. Then she would have to think of how to go about it.

Divorcing him was the only thing that would save her from Sebastian.

He won’t let her be since she was still his wife. But what should she do to be successful with her intention?

Vivienne couldn’t think of anything at that moment. But soon enough, she knew she would come up with a good idea.

Her phone beeped, bringing her back from her thoughts.

She thought it was Sterling who had messaged her not until she saw the name that appeared on the screen.

“What does Sebastian wants from me?”

She picked her phone to see the nonsense he has sent and she hissed.

How dare he think of sending something as stupid as that to her. Doesn’t he have any shame?

Or does he think she was still living under his roof to submit to his every will?

“You are very stupid for sending this to me, Sebastian. What happened to your sex tools? Go meet them you fool!”

she replied to his message and threw her phone far away from where she won’t see it.

( Keep an eye on them)

Vivienne woke up angry the next day because of that text message from Sebastian.

What does he take her for? A stupid girl that doesn’t know what she’s doing?

Or did she tell him she was hungry for sex for him to send her that message?

She left the bed muttering words under her breath angrily.

The way she felt at that moment, she could strangle Sebastian’s neck if she would set her eyes on him that morning.

After she was done taking her bath, she dressed up and left the room.

Since she wasn’t leaving the house anymore while she was on break, she didn’t care about her skin care again.

Acting was the only thing that was making her do it everyday but since she felt she was going to lose the job soon, she lose interest in it.

“Ms. Vivienne, are you going out?”

Lia asked her on the stairs holding a cup of lettuce juice.

Vivienne nodded her head while glancing at the juice in the cup.

“Oh, this is for you. It nourishes the…” Vivienne didn’t let her finish what she wanted to say.
